it could go test 1.1750 till Thursday ECB day

then we'll see if it shows any strength to resume uptrend or if weakness will prevail - time will tell

I have no idea...I take it one day at a time...until the week starts, I can only plan for monday's early trading based on the friday session...I don't look further than that yet. My only longer term view is for GU, where I am bullish since 2800...for 3050 minimum...and then 3150...and probably more, but don't want to look too far in the future either. But the sooner britain gets out of the European Joke, uups, Union, the better for the pound and the whole economy.

well it's a long story - the EU really is a joke, but nonetheless it's showing some signs of revival - the main weakness being European politics

initially i thought too that Brexit would be a slam dunk for the UK and the Pound would be soaring , but the way they're handling the negotiations does not convey a clear vision and leadership on behalf on UK politicians

Chart wise this move would make sense to me next week...range play up during the week and then a drop on thursday.

I think EUR/USD is looking bearish. A move down to 1.17ish could be possible.

Apprehensive to play the longs on a toppy as fuck EUR...long game.

I don't think there will be that much move in the market. By that I mean the up and down like we saw on Friday. Now i do think that if new surfaces that the govt will shut down or that they will. Yeah. That will make the US $$ drop.

It's a good image. Intentions of the market appear to be ready to break in every capacity the recent euro strength. Short term selling would be here to start the week only if it confirms. That being said, trade slow to start this week, it's labor day in the US but more importantly some news out of North Korea this weekend has the chance to shake market open significantly.

True that M, I am starting to see 1.173 in the picture but like you said, time will tell ..

Not just coz I am short ATM, I wouldn't be surprise to see bearish pressure after open.. (Considering where it closed)
