Gator, the monthly L roll is also 1874.9? I mean - the monthly L roll is the L roll on the last day of the month and it already passed?
or you mean that NY monthly roll is still open?

nope.. month dont end on a day roll unless its closes a month over the weekend.. that is why the forensics dont show 1926/27 (w/o the right time).. atm 1874.9 is some support.. 1865 norm below. the month hasn't decided with a close. it still may close the month below 1826

u already have adp as positive.. unless nfp is really worse than expected, i doubt it. last weeks unemployment claims were down. to me, that is positive toward nfp. next week/month the flood may change all of this.. as for as today goes, nfp has a better chance of being as expected tomorrow. pa took out Dragis already, then closed the day below his affect. in about 11hrs the month will vote. if that close is below 1826, its a dojo with a Dragis rejection.. if its below 1797 it is rejecting Dragis and Yellen.. if so, its like both of them have a press conference together. then where market buys usd after hearing them.. the month contains all those news releases.. then the market votes..up or down the results..

Thanks for the reply. I tend to agree, especially looking at the monthly 1.2 - 1.19 support now turned resistance.

Hi Gator...
I still have a 150 projection into the 1.1946 norm as an intermediate target for the bulls, but that last little rally high at 1.1907x is exactly halfway to the higher norm at 1.1993....

I'm pretty sure you already noticed that since you mentioned 1.1865....

So if I understand correctly you use London close only for weekly and daily closes?
For monthly closes the London roll (1874.9 for the month of August) is not relevant and you use the 17h est time and 24h est time rolls?

july 1784 1826 and less 1841 were/are. .. less so was the ny 5 est close at 1841, the one most use for a close pivot etc.

i may be giving people the wrong impression.. the month is still open. it hasn't closed imo. i am not saying its bearish atm.. and even with a month close below 1826. it still can retrace some of the 1.20xx rise, b4 it drops.. i dont think that's the case with a close below 1826. it doesn't mean it wont happen. it doesn't mean a close below 1826 is a certainty bear move for a drop. closing above 1826 has a better shot of being bullish, more so above 1891. from there closing below those lessons the chance.. none is a certainty.

month bullish, tomorrow NFP we may be able to see again 1.176x and 1.168x support in one side, and aiming for a new High in the other side

Tomorrow, if news push it up above 1940, then weekly could be closed with bullish too, we will see new H or retest 2069.
The drop from 2066 to 1823 was slowly, I did not see any strong drop there!
So I will short scalp around 1946, not for long term, the week can be closed with bullish one!
Good news also could turn it down to 176ish, but I think it will go up to 18ish or even 19ish before making a LL than 176ish
Wait to see how it moves with the news then !

Will keep my eyes at 1940 !!!

give it another 2hrs and 15 min... it looks dead atm .. unlikely looking now.. if something is going to happen, time is short now..

i went Long on the 1879 touch.. i need it to close above 1902 to feel safe now..

no, i was letting it close.. and it did.. 1901. 75 pips higher than July's close , not much move in a month. never the less it was green. shooting for 1.2166 atm.. unless something changes.. i still have a pending short at 1.2166
