Hi Emmanuel,

My plan was to wait for Monday close and wanted a close above consolidation area, ideally above 1300. The next target 1308 was already hit within 1 day and today open with gap up. How do you trade in this situation? To me one option is to wait for the market to retrace and the other one is go long with smaller risk and start building positions. This time I choose the second option.

Hi Arasheed,
I Hope this enrich what we had in this thread.
Anyway, thx Em for the enlightment, indeed there are a lots of other indi that can point earlier notification than TDI, and that can be so much put us into trouble than being productive.
I've learned this indi for only a couple of weeks, and it helps in confirming the TDI direction, not the other way around.
Well, anyone, can please add the alert for this indicator?

EURNZD has hit my goal at 1.6600 after bulding with ME in insurance account

Now I'm only into EURUSD on insurance and lotto partial account targeting the lows from 2010 and 2012.

Hi.

Well, its 6 hours passed and we now saw what happened. We can speculate what caused this gap up early today. No retrace but be prepared for crazy price swings.
Just this morning updated new target levels fr short term - 1316.57 and 1326.95, after seeing how 1308.51 got hit.
Keep trailing SL below yesterday' low.

It is near month end. Sometimes, we just have to be contented with what the market gave us and close shop early and walk away.

This is my version of the TDI indicator. I just have added a 20 linear weighted moving average to the indicator and it's working very well. Helps you to keep in the trend while the 20 ma doesn't crosses the market base line. See picture on eurusd H4:

How about setting on mobile phone?well this is my real problem..thanks for help mate

You only need to apply a 20 lwma to the first's indicator that should be a rsi period 10 with typical price (hlc/3). You can build the tdi indicator by hand. I think somewhere in this thread it's explained how to do it....

using another MA of the RSi data,
you are just looking at different average period of the price momentum.

what about the RSI 50 level ?

spend more time and study the price action and look at where the support/resistance were before.

in the next advance version of '"TMS" I will drop the TDI and RSI. No more oscillator. .. just plain old price action. Without the TDI, it wont be TMS but just trading made simpler....
