This isn't a rule and they can manipulate the market longer than you can stay in your losing trades and until all your money goes out the window.

Totally agreed. It may retrace to early August highs, but I don't see any reason the trend would reverse any more, as we had the oh so beautiful breakout last friday.
This friday is NFP though
