Disliked{quote} That is untrue. I run a grid EA that almost never sees a big drawdown (big = over 5%) Sure it only makes 5% a year but who cares. That is not the point. The point is that it makes money I would not have made had it not been running. It takes 100-300 trades per day (not counting each grid as a trade) When the market is making a big push against it I hedge and even net flip the position to take advantage of this. But since I lack the motivation/focus (dont we all) to scalp every 1 minute spike, I just let the EA do it. I prefer to catch the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} That's great, I salute you for your success and hope the drawdown never comes to youIgnored
Disliked{quote} your trades are mostly hedge and if I am not wrong you are the same person who used to open simultaneously buy and sell orders using big lots in the euro which is a very risky strategyIgnored
Disliked{quote} margin call will wait small traders behind that corner called small account balance to keep buying from dibs meaning for each trade there will be deducted margin, floating loss, negative night swap... so when to reach your bend for the trend either i will die of heart stroke or i will have margin call as my account is small then i will have heart stroke , in both cases your advice for small traders is big BSIgnored
Disliked{quote} Thanks. If the market was ever trending so hard the grid saw drawdown, I would be a part of that move (fully hedged and net the other direction). Moves like that are the moves we live for. May even turn the grid off in such a time. {quote} lol? opening buy and sell orders (hedging) is the same thing as closing a positionIgnored
Disliked{quote} thanks mate but i am stupid and stubborn trader, very difficult for me to see the dips and my ears usually deaf in listening to others advice.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I'm not talking about making 50 trades, or even 3 simultaneous and even if I was, there has been no significant retracement that you couldn't have continuously bought. I've said multiple times here how I haven't been able to enter a trade because I was committed elsewhere. So use your brain before calling BS, cheers.Ignored
Disliked{quote} still my answer : do not pass any advice about your way of trading as it is the holy gril here, there are here so many newbie traders who will believe to keep buying on dibs even their account is small and when the market goes deeply then they will lose... you should use your brain .... when writing in English try to remember many people here they are not native in English either . you should be specific when writing such as .... ..... and if your account is having huge funds to keep buying from the dibs ..... these simple words will mean...Ignored
Disliked{quote} A colleague of mine who is a pro-scalper reckons grids work, just FYI. Just off catching the main movement, even though you lose a bunch of trends when it's choppy.Ignored
