We've not yet answer the question, How do we make money in this game. You guys are wasting time talking about spread. I care about making money, don't care if the spread is 20dollars or 100.

spreads do have a huge impact on trading

just trade for a few years and you will appreciate that

Well this is a fine mess I got myself into... It looks like there might be some resistance at the 1.2000 range.

My tech analysis: What goes up must come down.

My fundamental analysis: both are crap currencies and eventually the euro must reflect that one of these days.

I'm shorting at 1.2000 and hope it works its way down.

Every time I see the weekly chart, that red line is the only thing I imagine. Trend ought to be quite strong until the mid-20's

Even though the technicals support a bullish disposition on the EURUSD, a bearish trade for a quick profit may be considered. Here's is a technical perspective on this.

On the H4 time frame, price action is respecting a support trendline (magenta colour) from the low of June 20, 2017. For much of July and August 2017, price action was consolidating within a descending channel (bound by navy coloured lines). This was breached distally by over 140 pips last week. We may expect price action to retest the distal part of the channel or the trendline (magenta colour) before further upward move. A break of the trendline southward on at least a daily close is likely to target the next significant support zone around the 1.16650 area.

I woud be with you guys on it but I promised myself not to trade against trend for a while. So I am skipping all shorts in favor of better long. Which is 1910 first, 1890 seconds and 1830 if we are going there at all.

It's unfortunate that price gapped up over the weekend. I really hate it when the big news event occurred right before the weekend and then a big move ensued leaving me no opportunity to jump in with the bull since I don't hold trades over the weekend. I will patiently await for a small (?) retracement to buy. This week is buy dips only. It should be easy money week.

Totally agree with you. I'm just looking for retrace. It seems to me we are overdue for a 150 to 300 pip retrace. I'll break even on a 120 pip retrace so things are getting tight for me.

This is a trade based on the daily chart with a wide stop......

It is not how I intraday trade normally......

In Intraday I will never short a strong trend before an healthy trend line break and a retest of the recent extreme...... I hope it helps.

I was swing trading for most of my time in forex. Its stopped working for me year ago. My risks was higher then reward and i am on probation right now, so i am minimizing risk. Ideally i want to see 1827 first, but i am counting on friday momentum . Good chance that E will retrace again from 1940 creating longer dips. I got my pendings all the way down to 1827 for next 48 hours. Will see what happens.
