Thing is, he is posting remarks and questions to Fxmadess but hes on Fxmadness's ignore list so no idea why he thinks hes going to get any acknowledgment.

I tried to questions something on his thread and just got shot down so I wont bother again.No disrespect intended.

I am very surprised as I never have engaged him in a discussion, never ever!

I just watned to post on his thread the same thing that I posted here asking if anyone knew of an EA or tool but I was told that I could not.

Jess from my understanding of the how the use of the candle color filter could be used is that the EA can cross check the trade suggestions with the candle filter at the set open time in the EA, and those that match will be passed through and opened by the EA.

For example in the EA lets say I would set to use D1, W1 candle time frames, and the if for example EURUSD is a buy signal and the D1 and W1 candles are both green at the set open time of the EA, then the EA would open the trade, but if D1 is green and W1 is red then as both candles did not match then the EA would not open the trade. Is this a possible function of how the candle filter could be used? If so that could be really great.

Jess I have a question pertaining to the function: Allow Opposite Trades on List. Perhaps it's been answered previously but I could not find it.

With this function set to = False, if there are multiple baskets on the charts, and lets say for example that one basket says EURUSD buy and another baskets says EURUSD sell, then my understanding is that the EA will not allow either of the signals to open.

Now what happens if there are for example 3 x EURUSD buy, and 4 x EURUSD sell, and the EA is set = False, will the EA still not allow any EURUSD trades to open, or as there is 3 x buy and 4 x sell, then the EA will allow 1 x sell as there were more sell signals than buy signals? I hope what I'm tying to ask is clear, I'm just trying to fully understand the EA's logic and rules to this function. Thanks.

The EA will cycle thru the list each time looking for an opposite signal. If it finds the opposite signal then it will remove both pairs from its list as pairs to be traded.
I think we saw this one time... I mean the originator of the request was showing me his test runs and when he created a scenario as you describe. All opposite trades were canceled out and only the last EURUSD trade was left. IT's almost as if you were summing up the lots sizes, sort bit in this case the left over EURUSD trade will just have that lotsize traded, versus a combined total.

BINGO!! So far your are the only one that understands this LOL. NOw, consider the BBSequeeze. SAME THING. I mean it;s either going match the Buy/Sell signal of the pair or it won't. So now you combine all 3. In order for a trade to be allowed the CAndleFilter (which is the result of D1,W1), the BBsqueeze( with rules of post https://www.forexfactory.com/attachm...5&d=1497378783), and the Buy/Sell signal from list must all three match in operation. Otherwise no trade.

That's if you are using these as filters. At the moment I have removed them, until we get the right results...

FXm_Diff3 with hotkey writer support.

Assign the hotkey Alt+H to FXM_Writer.

First click Lck to lock the basket, then click Bsk to generate the FXM_Writer file, then click on the basket name that appears and the writer will be loaded.

Added input VirtualBounceTrigger to vBaskets section.

If you set this to a number the EA will trigger a virtual Basket using this as a second trigger.
For example.
UseVirtualBasket=True
VirtualLowerTriggerLevel=300
VirtualBounceTrigger =50
With these settings the EA will trigger a real basket after the vBasket has fallen -300 pips and then risen +50 pips from the -300 pips fall (sort of like a bounce, right? lol)

2nd example, this time trigger on the upside:
VirtualUpperTriggerLevel=450
VirtualBounceTrigger =-30
With these settings the EA will trigger a real basket after the vBasket has risen+450 pips and then fallen 30 pips from +450 pips

Leaving VirtualBounceTrigger=0 will set the EA to trigger real baskets using only VirtualUpperTriggerLevel and/or VirtualLowerTriggerLevel

So there you have it...
Next Beta will contain the gradual addition of trades to a basket as they each reach a set trigger level

Thanks Jen, this could be really usefull in a basket like a monthly so trigger one -4500 pips trigger two 4000 so as to allow for the spread, plus the drawdown would be reduced, do you know if you can still use the upper trigger level so you could put a trigger at say +10 pips in case the basket went straight into profit ? i Dont think you could because it would see it as trigger one +10, trigger two -4000, i need to give this some thought, has anyone else here used the virtual basket on a monthly or weekly basket ? if so how did you get on?

but as after hours the VB was not triggered so i moved on to other things ...
