EURUSD Will the resistance hold? Difficult to say after missed US CPI so I bought and sold with close S/L so I don't really care.

I have a question about SL set at +15/-15 pips of previous high/low.
Sometimes happen that the trend will continue in 1 direction but you can get wicks that just took out your SL.
Did you experienced such situation?
How do you deal with that?
You just reenter in the trade the day after or ...?

Hi Merka, whenever stop loss was previously hit or not we can re-enter on each candle crossing SMA5 in the direction of the SMA's orientation as mentioned by Bk8 on several occasions as setup continuation pattern. However S/L being often quite big in the 125-250 pips range it is not so frequent to have it hit. Bk8 also mentioned that if the crossing candlestick is relatively small you should use the previous one +/- 15 pips as your reference.

Haha it happens man. I'm not one to hold onto losers and hope they come back. If you take a look at the higher TF price is in a correction from the uptrend move. Possibly even rolling over into a downtrend. I personally wouldnt have taken that trade.

Hi Fated82, your moving average looks a bit strange here is how it looked on my chart (before FOMC minutes).
Just in case this strategy's m.a. parameters are Simple Moving Average 5 periods shift 0.
