I had some free time this weekend and downloaded all the (16 versions?) of FXM__Diff3.ex4 that FXMadness has posted. I tried them one by one on both live accounts. Nothing worked. I just have to wait for the brokers to see what they can do. Ten files in this post and six in the next one.

UPDATE Beta 31

xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v37.7.8_beta_31.ex4

Folks:
It was reported that the discrete hours were not operating properly. The EA would open trades at the hours the user placed ok, but when then it did not close the trades at the hours the user had indicated. This beta 31 contains this fix. The upgrade has been tested and it worked. I did not however test it for the new day.. according to the code the EA should recognize that it is a new day and know which is the first hour to open a basket.

THe test was conducted by setting up the EA to open (testing only) a basket at the following hours:
GMTOpenHour=01:26,01:30,01:33,01:35
and then close the basket at the respective close hours
GMTDailyCloseHour=01:27,01:31,01:34,01:36

This features will work in DAily or Weekly Modes only.

See the results and compare. It was a success (you need to read from bottom up):

That should work in the latest betas... i had made a chanve so it can detect 4 character extensions... strange... ill do a quick test... i think i have a broker with the micro suffix in it somewhere

I would think that an ATR value would be a better way to go. You never know how many pairs will be traded so one day 500 pips may be good TP and the next day way too high for TP. Some pairs move more than others also. Just a thought.

Looking at the first image no, that is not the intend for the hours. There are only 3 ways to enter openHours or CloseHours.
1. Single Hour: HH:mm
2. As a range: HH1:mm-HH2:mm
3. As discrete (separate) hours: HH1:mm,HH2:mm,HH3:mm,HH4,mm ... etc etc.. (you can enter any number of hours, the limit being the END OF DAY or 23:59)
(#3 is just as u describe in the second image)

So yer second image is the correct what to enter both Open and Close Discrete Hours.

You don't need to necessarily add discrete Close Hours. You can leave the CloseDailyHour to one single hour. Just make sure that this hour is greater than the open ones. Otherwise the EA will open a basket at a certain hour and since the close hour is not greater it will just keep it open until either TP/SL or manual closing.

The discrete hours were intended for folks that use News Trading. This way they can set the hours ahead of time and just let hte EA do that for them,
In addition (I don't know why you would want this) they requested that they can do the same with separate or discrete closing hours. So hence I added the capability to the CloseHours inputs.

The discrete open/close hours will only work for the Daily and Weekly Modes. On Daily mode the Ea will each day try to open or close baskets at the hours that are placed by the user. On Weekly it will only do this for that one day the user picks.

Yeah I agree with you, 500-600 pips is the realistic tp in these days. And i guess i was not the only one who had max pips of 500 pips but closed around 300 pips lol.

But find the best setting for the tp and sl based on ATR is quite tricky. Seems like most of the pairs only reaxh around 0.5 daily ATR recently CMIIW

Sorry it;s my testing
It won't affect the EA performance, you will just have slightly larger log files.

I will remove it in the next update. Plus I do have an update for the bbsqueeze folks are seeing.. So stay tuned

The EA is up and running now but also only opened the said 9 pairs.
