It's been bouncing on/off on the 1st upper fib line of the vegas 1h tunnel. And with the news coming out later from Japan regarding the BoJ minutes, a short trade might be really favorable.

Check this news.

Thank you, and thanks sidus. I also closed half of my position! the worst that can happen now to me is that i break even (AKA waste time). The best that could happen is still up in the air i guess since it is on the last fib of the 1 hour tunnel(if i have it configured right)

I gotta admit, Profit Mode sounds really cool to me.

Sorry I haven't tried using 15 pip SL on 4H yet. I trade 1H according to the mighty Sidus sytem. I still use the RSI 21 though before I enter but once I'm in I remove all other indicators and just watch the candles jump up and down. :


As for setting SL and TP on opening, I use a figure rounded to 10 because it allows me to execute rapidly. For example the price is at 1.2650 and I want to go long I simply delete the 2nd to the last digit (5 in this case) and substitute 2 to make 1.2620 to give me 30 pips SL. I do the same with TP by adding 40, quickly changing 5 to 9 to give me 1.2690. No complicated calculations allowing me to execute in a few seconds and depending on movement can save me a few pips. I just keep in mind the two numbers + or -30 and + or -40 and make necessary adjustments once I'm the trade.

How do you set a trailing stop with MetaTrader 4?

I tried and it didn't seem to work right. Would like to have a 15 pip trailing stop after I take my first profit.

Your broker has to specifically allow it/support it. Some like MigFX need a written request before they enable it. Contact your helpdesk.

Hello all - sorry about the title!

Just have been reading this thread for some time now, as I go thru it there really hasn't been anybody stateing how much money they are making or the win - loss ratio - like for example is anybody making a living just on this Sidus system alone or are you doing something else - other trading.

It's a lovely easy set-up to follow. I see a lot say they get stopped out and then it takes off again - you need to get onboard again - well that's what I've learned with other signals, even though you get stopped out and if your signal lines up again, you need to take it if it fits with Money Management.

I am not a professional or anything, but I won't really like to know exactly what money people are making and alot are from DEMO accounts too, I don't see too many putting there real money up - I could be wrong!

We know that the market is in consolidation...But did anyone take or planning to take the short signal on EURUSD?

Do an expert on this system with filters as in an indicator Sidus WMA-RSI+CCI Filter.
Very good on GBPJPY and GBPUSD.

Pardon me for being a little curious but I cant hold my self back from asking any longer. I was wondering what the status of Sidus 2 is.

Are you testing her?(to say that its already completed?)
If not is it what you would consider a compilation of everything we have all have contributed?(bagoegotrip-method?)

Im not tryin to beat you to death with these questions but I cant help but wonder. If it is released it would be so much fun testing it out. When I see Sidus duece out, Il probably do some backflips and leap for joy a few times!

Be careful of the indicator -- my Metatrader programming is a little shaky. I recommend it for alerts only and adding the actual lines to validate the signals. Don't trust the indicator 100%. In fact, don't trust any indicator 100%.

With that said, I've made about 200 pips this week. ^^ Sidus, you da man. I don't know when your version 2 will be released, but I'm pretty spankin' happy with version 1.

I suggest backtesting for yourself. It takes time, but you gain one important thing with this and other mid/long term strategies. Trust. With trust comes confidence, and with confidence, comes... pips! Even with 12 pip spreads, it's all good (people trade level 1, level 2, I'm trading level 99999999...9, next to the nine hells -- if it weren't for God, I might fall in). =D Take care, folks.

Well, I think original Sidus on H4 charts looks pretty good from here. Haven't looked very hard at H1 but I don't see problems with Sidus 1.
