Bad entry..... my reaction was too slow

Still nearly 10 pips gain.

I forgot to press a go button of my AC software. The news source of this software is a free news service to catch with an add-on built within AC. Deviation is set in the script at 0.1% +(buy) or -(sell) and this was correct, so a sell trigger should have been done. Only my mistake not to set the go button to true on the screen.

Had the go button been correctly set, the trigger would have been somewhere in the middle of the down bar because the latency is usually 2 to 3 sec. With the monthly fee of $500 autoclicker service, yes, the trigger should have been at the top of the down bar, as the latency is claimed to be near zero.

I woke up for a piss so back to bed now.

Wow, for a $500/month AC service, that sounds really good! Was there any instance where the AC entered the trade in the wrong direction?

Hi Kev,
Sorry for the late reply.
I haven't tested the $500/mo AC myself so I don't know of such instances.

Hey Guys,

Glad I found this forum because trading the news and data is my bread and butter as I am anti-technical.

How do people in here trade the news/data release? I use ransquawk and website that shows the economic release instantly.

Anyone have a good return on the Swedish and UK CPI this morning?

Hi Samson, welcome!
Explain how you use the ransquawk news release to trigger the buy or sell button of your platform? Is there a clicker provided? Or do you manually pull the trigger by watching the release? Understand from a quick look at the service, there is an instant service and 1 min delay service. Which one do you use and how?

Can you post screenshots of your trade here for us to see?

As for the se and uk cpi trades, you can see them in the posts above.

Basically Ransquawk is an audio service that provides instant news release and economic data releases as soon as they come out. They have access to every news alert system - bloomberg reuters etc. Bloomberg terminal apparently cost £25k per user a year which leading trading firms use but ransquawk simply tell you via audio as soon as a release comes out.

It was very useful during the time of the referendum as they would update you instantly when things happened. For example every time there was a poll release they would audio squawk it and the market would move and you could make serious pips. For example I used it to make pips when announced the results that zuma would stay in power in south africa which caused the ZAR to move. They always deliver news earlier than the media.

You can get a free trial with them for two weeks, but I use it everyday as they provide top leading analysis and you have direct access to top notch analyst.

I manually pull the trigger by watching the release appear on my screen and I normally catch it near the start of the trade or in the middle. I make serious pips trading the weekly oil inventory data releases every Wednesday.

I will post a trade next time I do it so you can see exactly where I placed the trade.

Soon we will not have to think about which button to press "buy" or "sell". The sound from "Ransquawk" will immediately throw us dollars into the bank account.

My friend I do not teach trading on the news.
Everywhere in the news announcements, the trade is conducted by the base currency or index:
EURUSD .GBPUSD . USDJPY.
USDCAD .AUDUSD .NZDUSD .CL .NGAS

It would be ideal if you would make a video of your trade and post. Bandicam is recommended to use. There is a free version that records up to 10 min. It will record your screen, sounds, voice and your pointer moves. Looking forward to your posts.
BTW, how about the interest rate news? When there is no change, which is mostly the case, which button would you press?
