True, except in this case it could be much different for the Yen... in that it could be Japan getting the worst of the bad news. I mean if Little Fat Boy decides to keep playing his games, and eventually goes full-on insanely suicidal, Japan could find itself his target. Could be something like Guam, or maybe Seoul, but it could also be anywhere in Japan... just depends on the weirdo's mood that day.

the pair movement of recent year is still insignificant if compared to previous years... So it haven't started yet..

super symmetric moves this year sofar. Obvious support at 108.80 and then 108 if it breaks.

USD/JPY dropped to 108.90 and although it has formed a double bottom at that level on the H1 time frame which could lead to a temporary correction I think the overall bearish trend is far from over. The point being, I don't think I'd open a buy yet.

The Japanese Yen broke the support in the preopening hours of the European session. Bears might increase their positions.

I can't see any strong buy neither, unless its a spike up to reload shorts

I have seen a few buyers up to 109.6x/110.0x and 110.3x but buyers got eaten

Waiting for stronger opportunity now

SwissFranc and gold would be better this time round, NK missle path would have to fly over Japan and i believe Japan would have an obligation to shoot it down and it could be taken as an act of aggression between Japan and NK first...not exactly a great safe haven hedge this time round.
