im using FXMadess but others are using the original,its up to you really. You can set FXMadness indicator to show exactly the same as the original but it now has some nice additional features.

Yes, i can understand that.
Apart from news and/or event trading it was a very difficult trading week but that is to be expected when you trade in August.
There are less "stabilizing" funds present.

Btw. I noticed that the monthly/weekly traders are painfully quiet at the moment.

I trade the weekly indicator but using daily Tokyo open,im up this week so thats nice to see.Only by one trade though.

Update on my FXM weekly basket. Yesterday it hit a max high of over 2500+ pips, but today's news did not do well for the basket, well tbh it could have gone either way with the news. With this week being how it was and with so many baskets in DD this one pulled through nicely considering, and I'm happy with the results. If I can get 1000 pips in a week like this then the other weeks should get even better results hopefully.. time will tell.

Update on my FXM monthly basket. Well the same like everybody else its still floating in DD and is just kind of hovering around -3500-4000 pips. The news also didn't fare well for the basket as before the news it was floating around -2500 pips. Well its ok, and its only the first week so the coming weeks should be interesting to see if it will swing back to collect some nice pips.

Just curious why you do not use the lock in function. I am experimenting with it now.

Well as its a first test of this basket I want to see its full capabilities, that's also why I didn't set any TP or SL. If this was on a live account I would have probably closed the basket yesterday and ran with the 2500 pips.

Only if you set a manual lock.

I does not make sense to lock at a percentage if you are trading longer term (weekly/monthly).
The possibility that your locked pips are hit at the beginning of a trade period is rather high due to swings during.

So you trade weekly, go in profit on Monday, get locked out by profit pips on a Tuesday night reversal and what then for the rest of the week ?
Re-enter ? but that has never been a good idea.

Can someone please tell me where I can learn something, in a simple way, about the construction of the indicators, I would really like to know what each one wants to say, and when I change the settings what is changed, instead of Just being copy without knowing anything at all

Hi kik,
here is the original idea of CCFP. The xxxx-Diff version is an idea that uses CCFP. The original idea is not to trade like Diff-version (if I got the Diff idea correct). But changing, adding or altering ideas is what we do all the time. So Diff might be good but so might original idea be too.

Reading about how this Russian guy Simeon think correlation and currency pairs move is educating, Simeon has provided a lot of images. The link I added is a translation of a Russian thread that is even older but there you can follow the whole chain. I don't speal russian so I had it translated with G-Translate But it was interesting.
