thanks Jess, and lets say if only 1 at the stage of 1st trigger has hit 5pips, the others, as they recover, will also be forced into real basket correct? eg 10 in the basket, over time we hope all 9 will hit profits of 5 each to move into the basket just like the 1st

I lost my aud news trade,hit my 100pip s/l ,it did make 64 pips I think before going south.It was an unattended trade so maybe if I had watched it i could have closed out in profit.
Or maybe I expected to much from the 100pip t/p and not using a lock or trailing.

what do you guys think ?

But seriously, for unattended news trades you should lock much sooner.
It is better to gain less than possible than to lose.

And when Jess is finished with the new lock stepping it will be even better.

Good Evening all, I am a noob but would really wanted to learn some of the TPLs to be edited with different settings and designate it accordingly, but somehow I dont know how to do it, how to save and put it in. Currently I keep reloading tpl just to access its editable settings. I hope someone would be kind enough to give me way how it is done..
Again my sincerest apology to our seniors and experts here for this kind of querry, I have no luck searching it in you tube.

I was just heading to bed and had thought about using the lock but was unsure of how much the news was going to move it so took a chance on it based on the last news moves of the day.I do not have any experience with news, my general rule was to always avoid it so lots of things to learn from the more experienced.

Still up though !

but when i make the list i load id and pairs display same as before
if i want create EurUsd GbpGpy AudJpy the i leave AUD GBP JPY USD EUR in the GV List , but nothing yet ...
of cause i am missing something ...

All you need to do for your pairs.

You have the original TPL of the authorship of Fxmadness in post 9239, the other TPL that I am testing is for news, by Embry, you find everything much better explained in his posts, for them and the creators of this line and Ea's has to go the Our applause!

Yeah definitely set either a lower TP or profit lock for AUD. That one I wasn't going to trade live either way, I never trade AUD live. The moves are too inconsistent during that time of day.

Thank You for your prompt reply, really appreciate it. One question though tpl2 is always giving me no trade..I have been loading and reloading it,where should I check and edit the setting? Have no prob with tpl1.

I decided to trade USD filtered basket for the NFP release. Despite data came out better than expected for dollar basket isn't going well. Now I've lowered the lock level in case it will return to positive. In this case to enter trades whin the EA timer one minute after the release wasn't the best option and maybe it should have been better to enter sooner using the open basket button.

Both of my USD and CAD news baskets didn't trigger, not sure why! Looks like I missed out on a very nice move from both pairs damnmnnn.

Yeah still letting my baskets go, for some reason my baskets did not open on time and it's freaking me out. I had to open the baskets manually about 1 minute after the original 12:31 GMT start time. This is a case where on the initial move you should open the basket manually anyway. So as of now I caught much more drawdown than I should have.

Mine too! What in the world is going on. Maybe because of volatility? But that shouldn't have anything to do with the EA.
