EUR/USD is consolidating sideways slightly below 1.1900. The fundamentals tomorrow may push the pair above that level so I am not sure about opening or holding shorts for now.

There is but it is more natural than you might think. There is a reason for all the undulation of the markets. A good friend and teacher that occasionally posts explained why do the markets do what they do. He told me that regardless if it is real or fiat currency, there is a perceived value and that all the central banks are in a constant flux of seeking balance. If the price action is out of balance it will seek to go back into balance. That is why we in the retail market have zero effect on the market itself due to the profound high volume the central banks are dealing. A million pips can be traded and not even move the price. So history does play a part in the role of seeking balance. Then when the central banks do a quantitative easing--all hell breaks loose.

No country wants there currency to be way over or undervalued. The best economic strategy is to be a little undervalued.

If one forced to skip positions (in order to avoid bigger losses, stresses, etc.) not according to own trading strategy, such strategy must be skipped in the first place. That what I did - accept losses and change strategy completely (with much better risk management): going along with main trade, sometimes against trend on retraces, small S/L, few times bigger T/P - never have big losses, one good entry recovers losses from bunch of bad entries. Main point: to correctly understand trend and signals - then you have more good entry points = profit

Thank you very much! Yes I am not expecting it to drop back to the original position. I just can't afford to close it now so I am building to improve my equity everyday. I will cut loss when the time comes.

Sounds like your getting a little superstitious to me. If you live in the US, you would know how insignificant he is. They need to finish the investigation and admit that there was nothing there with regards to Russia. Why the whacky media wants to keep it alive, I'll never know.

If it goes down, I would count about 200 pips. 1650 area. But it's fucking forex brother, you never know...
