In my opinion, today it will be very difficult to trade this pair because there will be simultaneous news for the two currencies.
From the point of view of a daytrader

Yep, I'm thinking the same. Might be more difficult to jump on the news train as both up and down volatility could be quite significant. We will see..

It's too soon to speak about the end of August. US CPI is an important number. It will be released next Friday. I can tell you after I will know that number.

USDCAD Where to from here?
Worth noting this pair has reached the low of the large daily bear candle which formed 12-July. Note the H4 zone which resulted in a sell off from this area. M5 has not shown signs of weakness yet.

I was unable to see any clear signs of bears during my awake hours. During the US session bears did show up but higher than the zone I had identified. Even though there was a short and sharp bear move the follow through has yet to happen. Looking for support on the far right.
