CCFp weekly signals (set and forget basket trading)

Whats the best selection for USD news ? obviously all usd pairs, should we remove everything else,or leave cad ?

GBP news was successful today. Traded the 08:30 and 11:00 news and both hit 100 pips TP. I wasn't awake for the 08:30 so I'm not sure how long it took to hit, but the 11:00 news hit TP in less than 10 mins. Makes me think that I could have set a had a higher TP and it would have hit as well.

Just measured on average each gbp pair did 110~120 pips.
So perhaps yes.

the g news were one way news, perfect move.

i traded them manually, gj was my pair.

I'm taking notes of the news and how it did, but one can never know the affect the news will have on the market. I'm not talking about whether positive or negative news, but if the news release will have a big or small affect on price movement, so I could have set a 200 pip TP but if the news didn't have enough effect then it might not have hit. Well 100 pips in 10 mins is good enough for me lol.

That's why i am advocating for the lock step increment.

At 100 pips 50% lock step 10 pips increment 1.1 max 90%

100 - 50%
110 - 55%
120 - 60%
130 - 65%
140 - 70% which would be ~your intiial 100 pips tp.
etc.

After 10 steps 200 pips the lock will be fixed (and trailing !!) at 90%
So 7 pairs 100 pips (now, consider this was an ideal move) would have been 90% of 700.

No more fixed tp.
Comes in very handy in news moves that are almost always violent without even the time for retracements.

Wow did I miss out, not sure what happened. Had two baskets set for GBP 11:00 GMT and neither triggered on two different accounts. Gained some pips on the 08:30 GMT but not sure what happened on the others. Using 37.7.8 beta 17

I am using same build but opened manually..Had one the other day that failed,I put it down to not resetting ea.

Mine was a fresh EA, since I've had them fail before I just load a completely new EA onto each window.

Thanks, looks great. I have been looking for a way that would give the same chart but live. I am not sure how possible it is. I will learn coding if I have too. But with the great system you have created, my grand childern will have nice college funds. Many thanks for sharing the fruit of your labour so selflessly.

Alright! A little update of my monthly basket.

I wake up this morning with a max DD of -9801 pips... My SL is at -10,000 Lucky I guess.
The news was good, I'm back at -3700 pips.

3rd day of the month, only 28 to go

FXM_Writer will create an offline chart that is live !
As long as the writer indicator is on your chart it will update the offline chart every x millisecond interval and that is as close as you would
get to a combining all pairs due to the complete price difference. There is no other way you can display a eur/usd pair 1.x and a nzd/jpy 88.x as bars on the same chart.
FXM-Writer is a bit different from other basket writers because it can handle buy and sells and generate a "really close" actual movement chart.

Would it be possible to add an exclusion list to your indicator.Reason I ask,im using it to trade news,but having only 1 minute to deselect pairs with the ticks seems to be cutting it fine.

Wouldn't you rather have an inclusion list ?
Including 7 gbp pairs looks simpler to me than excluding the other 21.

With that inclusion list you could create template especially for that currency.
When gbp news comes up, load the gbpnews.tpl and only change the start time of the EA.

Btw, you should all make more use of templates.

If you have set your gbpnews trader chart with a ccfp and xmess7 EA save it as GBPNEWS.tpl.
It your news trade it done (tp reached hopeful) you only have to reload the same template for the next gbp news event.

Reloading a template will force the currently loaded xmess EA to go through the de-init routine and remove all his globals (if programmed correctly).
The newly loaded template will start a fresh copy of the EA and when it goes through the init routine set everything "fresh".

So you can have 7 news tpl's and a open chart and just load the upcoming news tpl, change the start time and you are set to go.

Makes more sense so when you use inc list it ignores the others ?

or maybe,just inc usd pairs or gbp pairs etc

In my opinion indicator FxMadness an absolute favorite this week and this month. I have no idea why test a few baskets simultaneously. This to me is a waste of time. To understand, you have established a relationship between different settings 2-3 weeks or 2 -3 months. CCFp W1 and CCFp MN have a strong enough signal. Very few must be filtered for less DD. If things are tested individually, a much clearer picture visible. I hope it will save a lot of time and work of many people. And I hope something helps you both to me helped me: Husky77, jenbols, braintheboss and many others. Thank you! Only based on this week's tests, there is no way to determine how successful will be the indicator FxMadness, but definitely with settings by EQB and FXM, blew me away. I have no idea what secret's got FxMadness in option: Use FXM calculations, but this week is impressive. Many different proposals for trade and it successful. Thank you! Pity only that the tests do not diminished, but increased. I think 54 is currently conducting test.
Based on all my tests (you'll see them in the attachment) indicator CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1) was doing great until a week ago. A lot of time it took (including 17" laptop burn) to get to the settings TF W1 L2 Md 7:15 Monday - Thursday 14:59 GMT. Just when you thought it was reasonable to think about MM, SL and TP began to betray me. As jenbols says, there will always be a traitor. Last week and this big DD. Good deal last month MN TF L5 Md 03. 07. 2017 07:15 - 28. 07. 2017 13:20 GMT, but this is still in a very big DD, no longer can afford. And last month he had, but then a lot of patience and a very good profit. The table DD I recorded it when I can and it is indicative. EA xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v37. 7. 6 losses related to log file, restart of MT4. This month, with both indicators CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1) and FXM__Diff3 parallel tests, FXM__Diff3 has a smaller DD. Разбирам да, сте установили някаква зависимост между различни настройки, 2 - 3 седмици или 2 -3 месеца. CCFp W1 и CCFp MN имат достатъчно силен сигнал. И миналият месец имаше, но в последствие и много търпение с много добра печалба. В таблицата DD съм го записвал, когато мога и е ориентировъчен. EA xm7_Ccfp_Wkly_TradeMonitor_v37.7.6 загуби връзка с log file, при рестарт на MT4. Този месец с двата индикатора CCFp-Diff_[v2.0](1) и FXM__Diff3 паралелни тестове, FXM__Diff3 има по-малък DD. Ще видим, в края на месеца.
