ok,so how is the indicator refreshing during the news if you have it set on 1hr? surely it only giving you new pairs on bar end ?
or are you using fxmadess version and have refresh every minute ?

For one I use thinkorswim for my charting, best free demo available in my opinion. It allows me to have 3 time frames for each of the 28 pairs with MAs and bollinger bands on each window (with the help of 28 inch 4k monitors lol) As far as the candle break I'll go to the strongest pair for the currency, so if it's USD news I'll look at USD/JPY and EUR/USD for the 1H break.

I would like to suggest our thread's Godfather here FOREXPINBAR to create a New Thread for CCFp basket applied to News and Daily approach trading style.

Since : CCFp weekly signals (set and forget basket trading) ... thread name does not fit this amazing new perspective AND need to be digged more deeply ...settings , results , shares will be quite different from original spirit of the "set and forget" ,go to shopping/work ..
trader style .... Embry1, Buba, do you agree ?

So with the 28" monitor, you are able to split the screen with the demo on one side and your real trading account on the other. Is that correct?

all your screen shots show your ccpf indicator is only refreshing on the hour,so how is that going to give you correct signals to trade news at say 8.30gmt ?

doesnt make sense to me mate,sorry.Please explain to me.

Three monitors total, 2 of them have charts up all the time and the main monitor I have all my accounts running in the background and I just click whichever tab I want to view at the time. I also have charts running in the background on the main monitor for shorter time frames.

GVC CCfp bbsqueeze got me thinking.Even in a worst trading month like August its still making green pips...Thank you GVC for this wonderful dashboard..

Maximum pips = +4019
Minimum pips(Maximum DD) = -521
Current pips = +3218

Wow, that is impressive!! If I can't have it, then I'm glad you do. Would love to see a picture of your layout..."picture is worth a thousand words" as the old saying goes. If you don't mind, how long have you been involved in forex trading? I have studied all of the various ways to trade the CCfp signals, but your method interests me the most because I can view the upcoming red news for the entire week and plan ahead around my work schedule.

Thank you for the contributions you have made to this thread. It is unselfish people like you, FPB, xmess7, fxmadness, and jenbols to name a few that makes me stop and realize that there is still a lot of good in our world.

That is just showing the bar end timer, which is simply when the current bar ends. With the TT setting you are getting real time indication of the candle so you may get multiple signals within the candle depending on how choppy it is.

Setting up for AUD news here shortly, looking for a quick move. Tomorrow will be quite an interesting day, there's red everywhere! Monthly baskets could use a could shake up into the right direction.

darn got stopped out in the aussie news trade.

edit: sorry just wanted to confirm my signals, it was buy for most aud pairs on entry right?

Cause i am just wondering, the news was a negative news, but the signal indicated a buy for aud pairs. Isn't that contrasting?

Just did a small test using Embry1 settings for AUD news.
Results as below are self explanatory - Note - this is only a once off test
Commenced as per FF @ 1:30 GMT = 2:30 London
Broker time below on graph is +3
Conclusions:
1) M5 & M15 select the same pairs as opposed to H1
2) M5 & M15 appear to provide the best gain and lowest draw-down - best for FIFO

Interesting...how long did you let the baskets run after the GMT open of 01:31?
