Wow what a week, I gain some I lost some I learned some. Finally by Friday I fully adjusted my tech strategy. Hope it works. Next week will be hard testing. Now speaking of EU; I see double top on 1h which probably will take us back to 1720, up trend remains. No major reversal signal, just bounce from S/D zones. Not even decent consolidation created. All my attention this week will be on technical side of my strategy so I don't really in to fundamentals, which means I will skip any important days until volatility cools off. Just to say , I sold EU at 1755 last minute and left trades over weekend. I wish everyone great weekend and a lot of fun. Summer it's almost over so enjoy it as much as you can guys. I went to play billiard with my family and drink a lot of booze. Good luck everyone!

I left several trades open over the weekend (all small ones). Each of them are USD-positive... i.e., short EUR/USD. Yeah, I may get burned, in that I'm assuming it's time for things to turn... long PAST time, actually. But whatever... we shall see...

One thing I have learned about you, you tend to enjoy posting, quoting and talking about whoever is on the wrong side of their trade and I find that completely ignorant of you... ask me why?

Every strategy have their draw down and winning stage and that's a fact. Your strategy might be in it's winning stage at this time, but trust me you also have your draw downs as this is normal. So unless your strategy provide you with 100% (Holy Grail) and you can prove it, I will advice you stop calling others out.

If you have been on the market for this long as your username claim, then you should know better than this

I myself used Hedge Strategy expert in GBP/USD pair at several years ago (as I posted) are experied the same thing with Ata also.
Finally... there is the One (Old) Member appointed (I forget the Name) that admonished me, which made me realise though Late.

And I have NO Intention to blame Anyone. We both share experienced as an Example to Other members, in Order Not to experience the same Events.
I say the Truth ...

Do you also post your draw downs? So people don't make same mistakes in future too?

Since you say the TRUTH, Can you post your Explorer? (I know you will tell me you don't have one)

Demo accounts are good for learning purposes and can be helpful for the novice. However, they become unrealistic when you literally have nothing to lose so you take chances you wouldn't ordinarily do in a live account. Demo money ultimately has little impact on your trading strategy because there is no pain involved.

In forex trading you need the joy but it doesn't come without the pain of learning using real currency.

A few high volume posters are absent for a while and thread is quite different for better but there is always someone who is asking others for proof, for TE....

Don't worry about tsar and besides you don't advocate for Ata-Turkoglu. He is capable to respond to Tsar if he wants.

After I suffered a great Loss in the time, when I still a Newbie. I learned with hard then.

Post your own mistakes so we can learn from them...

I am not advocating for ATA as I didn't even know he's Explorer was looking like this.. I just don't appreciate you using someone's TE as example.. Ata might not have a problem with it as he clearly uploaded the TE...

Show me your mistakes and stops using someone's TE as a reference and if you don't have mistakes to show, then please share with us your strategy...if you do not want to share with us your strategy, then stop pointing out others ...

My strategy is always based on the premise that for every uptrend there is a retracement period. Sometimes I get fooled with a consolidation once in a while but there is not one uptrend that does not retrace on it's journey upward and the same goes for downtrends. One of the important practices for survival is not go beyond the 2% rule which is don't use more than 2% (I went over 2% and am paying for it--ouch) of your account for investing. Some strategies, it's not as important but mine is high risk in that draw downs are a part of the trying to find the PA turnaround. So if the market goes against you, that's just a better positioning opportunity. If you positioned badly however, then you'll just have to wait it out. When that happens to me, I can usually get to break even knowing there will be a retrace. My last bad one, I had to wait it out for three months.

If you look at my live account, it doesn't look good. At the beginning of this month my year to date was around 87%. Now it's 63.4%. Since I live in the US, I position in quite a few currency pairs simply to get around the FIFO rules. I had to sell off three pairs just to maintain margin. So some I positioned extremely well while others... not so much. It will probably be another 2 or 3 weeks before I see profitability. As nasty as it looks, my balance is only down $200.00. If the market moves 100 pips in my favor, I am in the green with about a 15% profit. I'll have to see what next week brings.

It's peaked the daily channel so it should head back to the lower channel regardless if this is still a strong uptrend.
