MRDFX -mate I have no problem with you at all, like me you have always tried to help , i am talking about this thread not that one, and its not just the gig stuff its alot of things, this was an example, i am saying that some time ago on this thread everyone helped each other and its sad because now its - not the case.

I noticed that when testing the FxMadness indi just before a big news event it is going into big minus. So now when ever there are big news events I decided to enter the trade just before the news event with all trades in reverse. Worked great 2 times now.. :-)

A little crazy I know.. Just testing it..

I'm working on some analysis with something similar but not with news, just general everyday trading. Firing 2 baskets(forward and reverse) with larger virtual baskets(think 100-200pips) depending on entry time and past performance. I can't say anything about the reproducability of the results in the future but with past data the results look really good. I've taken the divergence between the average first 2 weeks/last 2 weeks and the average of all the 6 weeks to get the graph below. This tells me that the 1st 2 weeks on average drops after tokyo open to slightly recover by london open then drops throughout the day. The last 2 weeks have the exact opposite behavior hence the reverse trade and the forward trade complementing each other nicely and peaks coinciding at similar times(Tokyo open and London open). Forward and reverse baskets will be fired at these times. The data is only using daily signals as weekly and monthly don't produce such a clean direction.

So 4 baskets- Basket 1R1 and Basket 1F1 opens at 3:45 and Basket 1R2 and 1F2 opens at 10:00. The forward baskets close at 22:50 and the Reverse baskets close at 17:30. That's just that the reverse trades generally peaked at that time.
Settings are below:
Basket 1F1: VB:+225 TP:200 SL:-250
Basket 1R1: VB:+100 TP:220 SL:-200
Basket 1F2: VB:+150 TP:250 SL:-150
Basket 1R2: VB:+40 TP:500 SL:-250
These settings were adjusted to maximize the pips for each individual basket. I used safety factors to mitigate the spikes in between the 1 min log resolution and was somewhat conservative(underestimating TP and overestimating VB hit and SL) to be on the safe side. Results are below:

Assuming that the market doesn't whipsaw heavily after it has crossed the virtual basket pips(highly unlikely to occur that frequently with these settings) the price will continue in the direction that the basket is opened in and continue further. Higher volatility will only improve this combination of baskets as it will catch any significant move in either direction and the VB should keep the baskets from opening on low volatility days. SL were allowed that high because most of the time the price will recover a lot more than what the SL will cover. More there just for safeguard in case of news and whatnot. This analysis doesn't take into account slippage so if the VB is hit on news then this analysis is overestimating the results.

If you are not, a news trader, a weekly or monthly trader but more of a day or shorter trader just try to avoid news periods.
For me personally that is the Sit On Hands periods because you just can not keep up with the headline HFT's.

Using Geko ea:
It seems there is something special about the 1st trading day of the month..I maybe be wrong but from little observation and tests that i run on the 1s trading day of May and June , results are very impressive..On 2nd May which was the first trading day of May , I opened a multiple basket with the monthly(43200) signals and in about 3 days i made a whooping 19000 pips …I was curious so I decided to run another test on the first trading day of every month since May and keep records for better confirmation of this scenario..I opened a multiple monthly basket on 1st June which is first trading day of June and here is my result.Very impressive I must say..I dont think it is a coincidence that the monthly and weekly signals opened on the 1st trading day of the month performs so well..

Trend filter ON..Use previous Monthly(MN) candle as filter

HI everyone this is a monthly template its oocat227 settings, he very kindly posted with 30,000 pips on a monthy basket, heres my template and im useing beta 15 Xmess7 ea which i have also included, and you need to download CCFP_diff v2.0 hope it helps someone cheers

Thanks, but arent there too many trades to trade this? My broker only alows 100

Hi It opened i think 104 trades, so open a new demo account with a broker that does allow this, my broker alowes 200 open positions, i think draw down was 4500 pips for oocat227- but i opened mid month with only 327 pips draw down and i made 10,000 pips.
On a cent account 4500pips is only £45 but if it makes 30,000 pips thats £300 !
Demo First, and use in a cent account with a good broker, if you decide to go live is my advise.

Hello guys, i'm trying to load the xmessWeekly trade monitor, but i can't. I also tried with other two trade monitors (v37.7.1(1) and 37.7.7) but it doesn't work. This is how my tpl look's like:

How can i solve this problem? Many thanks. I'd like to try to trade in demo the first day of the month, in monthly mode

I might be wrong but it looks like you ea is in you indicators folder and it needs to be in your experts folder

Thanks a lot man, it worked perfectly. All charts now updated with the new updated FXM indie and its secret sauce new CCFp calculation. Should be a interesting week ahead.

Montego, that is flaming awesome. Great for us who have been dabbling with the system, but still trying to keep up. Now, your template loads all the indicators and the beta xmes correct on my machine. When it comes to it starting on the first day of the month or this week etc, what do we need to do to it? or will this load automatically?

I have put it on a cent account with 2800 in real money (hardly any risk with a cent account), so be interesting to see how this goes and now I can keep everyone updated as well.
