Thank you, now I get it. I have a trade manager that I have been tweaking, forward testing, tweaking, and forward testing, but my average entry price calc was wrong, I couldn't figure out why (I was having trouble seeing the wood for the trees). This information almost completes my project for the time being, for my trade manager. Over the next weeks I'll finalise the code, then I will do some forward testing and display some charts for mine and everyone else's learning / development, if you are interested and if you are happy to help me on this learning journey Emm that would be good and very much appreciated ...

What do you guys think about GBPUSD?

Monthly price is above previous swing line, above EMA 10, last month bullish. Weekly last candle bounced on monthly swing line and above EMA 10, yesterday daily break out of range from bar from 14th july and close above monthly/weekly swing line/resistance-now support? yesterday close was above PAC and TDI is in moderate mode but we can see TDi has made a "triangle".

Today price retraced back and we have end of week tomorrow, I think i will wait till monday and then take a decision to build a position but also we have and of month, good question if I should stay or walk..... When I decide to get this trade my goals will be 1.3300 and 1.3900.

We are at month end trading until next Monday closing. No hurry to jump into this one until I see a full MN closed.
I am happy that GU traded above the 1.2945 in June while I was in vacation. FOMC drove it higher but it was temporary as it pulled back very strong yesterday.
From now until it shows it can trade above 1.3500, it will be in the region of the 3 months very negative sentiments after the Brexit referendum, I'll be very cautious to commit very long term positions. Lets look at AUDUSD, EURUSD and EURGBP also GBPAUD, GBPCAD and GBPNZD pairs for August MEME trading.

On my D1 charts below, what I am looking at will be how it will trade above 1.3500. I have confidence in the GBP in very long term during Theresa May term as PM. But now with its low rates, its good for investor looking at British assets especially in the property sector. Buy and hold for now.

I've managed to catch this swing thanks to a limit order, but I have a TDI Cross following the trend but I think it is a very aggressive move, if today were not friday what would you do in this case.

- Let the profit run.
- check H1 for any indication what the market might do.
-- false green go flat, hook, check mark that could only lead to a green bounce
- move SL to BE + profit
- start a trailing stop.
Best will be:
- close order when green go flat, hook, check mark

Hi, this is an updated version of my EA. Version 4 was a bit sensitive for break-even signals and would take orders out a bit soon. This version is corrected for that.

Hi Celord

That TDI cross with very steep slope due to that very big bar/candle which close very low. Remember the defauk TDI setting is based on using the bar Close price, the lower the Close price compared to the previous bar Close price will determine the 'ángle' of the TDI Green line.
With such huge price move, you can lock in some profit and wait for the next few bar/Ha candles to see if it will consolidate. Usually small inside bar follows and big bar.

But since you are following the trend on the higher timeframe, then the question is can you coinvert this trade to be D1 trade and manage it on the D1 chart timeframe. However, if you trade H4, you should only manage it in the H4 chart tiemframe. Do Not try to manage a H4 trade in H1 or M15 because the TDI in lower timeframes will give many false signals for exit.
But if you want to covert to D1 trade, you have to look at your Big Picture Plan, do you see possibility to let this trade be manage in D1 chart timeframe.

On your chart, I don;t see a good entry at the price 1.64127 becasue there was no TMS setup at that level.
I have one ME#4 entry at 1.6408 which give me better average entry price with 5 open positions.

Look at my D1 POMO chart below,
there were 3 trade opportunities since May.
The 3rd entry this month July has reach some historical support&resistance and entry near these S&R levels are riskier. We shall see next week how GbpCad will trade and if the current downtrend will continue. I will continue with sell ME/ME trades and manage day to day.
