I have always wondered at what point would a trader have difficulty scaling his trading account even larger. FX is the most liquid market in the world by far. You would think a trader would have to have quite a large account before running into this issue. What do you all think is the approximate dollar amount that his or her account would need to be before liquidity problems started being an issue?

depends on your broker, if its A book broker with real market liquidity you should not have a problem. Manually some times I trade upto 20 to 50 lots and never have problem with ECN broker.

Hmmm..that looks like a handy tool, what is that exactly? Does your broker provide that built in to the platform?

It's going to depend enormously on the instrument traded and its volumes: trading something like EUR/USD or GBP/USD it's never going to be an issue at all for 99.99% of independent traders, but maybe it might be, eventually, for mega-funded traders of the Turkish Lira.
