If you are worried about "black boxes" then best not to deposit any money with a broker! They are not known for transparent operating procedures.

You're right. I was thinking about that for a while now. I think I'm just going to stick with futures contracts. Spot FX is way too unregulated.

Now if only Bauta could code this for NinjaTrader or Tradestation or MT5! That would be really nice.

Because for some reason, there's aren't any brokers that offer futures on MT4. Might be a technical limitation of some sort.

I did some backtest for v038 and v037. There is a bug.

This happens when s_GridSizeFactor=5,6,.. but not s_GridSizeFactor=4.

Release 038, What is new?
changes: Dynamic_Grid parameter removed,
Dynamic_Percent_Increase renamed to Expansion_Percent. If Expansion_Percent = 0, Dynamic_Grid is disable, if Expansion_Percent > 0 the grid expand, if Expansion_Percent < 0 the grid compress.
BreakevenLevel parameter discontinued.
When in channel mode, after 8 orders the channel compress instead of expand (diamond)
in symmetry mode the EA closes position on profit at each grid line cross.
Please test and demo before live,
download updated EA on post one.

first of all: Great work, thx!!!

If you would run both modes together on one account, what you do this with to charts or would you cobine it in one EA? Just asking because the "normal" linea are not appearing in the chart when doing it via the same EA...Thanks...

it is best to have two charts, one symmetry and one channel.

one chart, symmetry defaults.
lowering s_gridFactor will lower the risk.

Cent account settings:
s_GridSizePips=0
s_GridSizeFactor=3

Scalp settings:

s_GridSizePips=0
s_GridSizeFactor=0


Which settings use for best and low risk tnk you.

tried to fronttest on my real account (where another EA is running fine), EG tells me "account is not allowed for trading". Is EG104.038 only for demoaccounts? If yes, how can I get access for the LiveAccVersion? Thx

Has anyone tried EG on indices? I've just started it and the results look promising on one broker, but on the other it seems to be staying flat.

I'll post some results in a couple of days.

Hi Bauta,
The EA's going great on my 20k demo with 40 pairs. Have you considered putting a spread filter on it for new cycles? eg if the spread is 50% higher than the average spread for that pair then new cycles aren't started yet?
