I have a question. Using your screenshot as a example. If todays candles is a short and closes below the 20 sma middle band but isn't touching the outer band would you trade it short? Providing of course that the 5 sma is pointing down.
Another example from your screenshot would be the 4th candle back, green which has closed just above the 5 sma. Would you have traded it long?

2.... Propably not. I would have thought of it as sideways. So - I was wrong again.

Try in demo first. Both this Bk8 system and the other Bk8 system in 1H thread https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=605254 which is a bit simular.

If you go to my last post on that thread, then you can see, that it told us to go short some hours ago. I am not posting the chart here because this thread is on the 1 D system.

Just pondering...
1. Sideways...but it went up - 2. Wick ...but it went up - 3. Little bittle green candle .and is no 3 candle .it went up
4. Now a good green candle but ?? Mid bb ?? 4rt candle in the role ...?
.....??... maybe there are some more green pips ... and this is a downtrend I honestly don't know. Will go in with a small amount and good sl

Stuck in there for a day or two. I entered on the big white candle whom crossed with the sma.

Are you happy entering long when the 5 sma is flat combined with general trend being down? I am a beginner at this strategy so don't think I am criticising.I just want to learn.

EDIT: Closed UJ with +152pips. Risk was 52 pips.

What about EURAUD and even GBPUSD (although I'm not sure how valid the sell setup is on GU as I think it's in an uptrend)

Hello Jmtini,

For EURAUD as for any other pair involving the Aussie we have to wait for today's close to be sure of the signal.
Regarding GBPUSD I would be cautious about the rebound from the Bollinger middle band..

GBPCAD and GBPAUD over the next couple of days - going up? GBPJPY going down (look for a good place to enter sell)

EA - Did I think of like a chance. so I took a small trade. But then..the E is so strange ...60% sure of profit.
Gu - when there are 3 or more red/green candles after each other I pause. Usually the price is getting tired, and wants to get the other way again.

Great. Yes I think with the strong Euro it's pretty safe trade

Anyone get going with GBPJPY? I said it was a nice selling opportunity!
