The beginning balance was 10k. I choose to trade with a 0.01 lot size to be safe considering that we are in July and because this is my first monthly LIVE trading for this strategy. I still continu to trade my weekly basket with a lot size of 0.05 because the DD is smaller.

Next month, I'll do the same (0.01 for my monthly basket and 0.05 for the weekly). If I can get the same kind of results, I'm gonna increase the lot size to 0.02 with a potential gain of 2000+ and 0.03 the next one... and so on. My weekly basket can cover my lost if I got some. I jumped in a monthly trading with the idea to risk 1000$ (my gain for 2 weeks in weekly).

That's my plan.

The money management is crucial. I always trade with the idea to lose my trade. I hope for the best but always prepare for the worst.

Very interesting day, woke up to two baskets. One was my news basket for GBP 08:30 GMT and unfortunately the news wasn't strong enough to continue the initial positive GBP trend so it hit the 100 pip SL. However my reliable 10080 TF L2 3/5 basket has hit 4/4 positive baskets this week. Today it hit the 200 pip TP. Now that the Open Basket button is available, I can use it for unplanned news that shakes up the market like the USD news that just hit. I saw the release and market reaction and opened my 60 TT L1 1/2 basket for a quick 250 pip profit in just minutes. Here are the results.

This week has been a very busy week for me so i decided not to monitor the basket and set my SL to -15%.. i made it lower than 10% so as for the basket to have e a little more breathing room.Hours later after the basket opened someone mentioned that it was a red news day, carney spoke... Since i was busy i decided to leave it alone and was fine with the SL at -15% so i went about my business and didnt look at the basket. Then the next morning i woke up at 4am and decided to look. 2 baskets were closed by the EA and the third was @ 8.35%, so i closed it manually.

That's how this week went for me and the baskets...

Hello to all. Please, can anybody answer to this? I am running a weekly basket and 2 daily baskets. The first daily basket is 1 hour after London open and the other with different basket number 1 hour after US open. The setting is to close at 23:50 GMT if the basket does not reach its target of profit earlier. If either the target reached or the basket close at 23:50 in order for the EA to initial new orders at the specified time next day it needs to RESET?

Embry1 when you trade the news do you always filter the pairs to only trade the currency that's relevant to the news or do you leave all pairs set to true?

For unplanned news I'm trying completely unfiltered baskets, if it is scheduled news I will filter it.

That's the way to go.
You will live much longer without the stress...

But for everybody who likes stress like me just keep hammering those Di/H4/h1 (your choice) baskets thru next to the more relaxed monthly/weekly ForexPinBar setup.

Be careful what u allow yerself to belIeve for even though it may seem logical or prudent you are cultivating that into yer psych which in turn will eventually move you to make trades that will equate to that simple statement you made.

Thedenus in yer first post where u explain what and how you are doIng with this approach, that is all you need to feed yer thoughts. And i commend you for even when you were faced with opposition you stood yer ground. Beleive in that and You have already multiplied yer $10k many times over...

The close hour input is just so u can control a basket that has not hit tp or sl and u just dont want the basket continue without closing.

After a basket is closed the EA will automatically look for the open hour when a new day starts unless:
1. you change the hour and or day to open basket
2. you select to ignore basket close hour and basket is stilll active at end of day (u are allowing basket to continue until it does hit tp or sl)

xmess, you clearly joined the bos club as well.

my hats of to anybody making it live, demo is useless and takes no kahoonas.
