Please update to the latest fxm, a small bug fix has been made.

Thanks for sharing your new strength indie..The arrows look pretty cool on the indicator ..So I was playing with your strength indicator in the FXmadness indicator and looking good so far..Just experimenting at the moment LOL.

There is something not right with your indicator.

Strength will never display "MA 3/5" because that is not used in strength !

Hi FXM,

Great effort for the indicator and style that you put in this thread.. Just to ask there must be some type of SL that you may imply after all.. locking and trailing really doesn't make sense when we put 50 pips TP, but SL have to be there.. hope you have sorted that already.

Last night I decided to trade the news using Embry1 strategy. I traded the AUD and GBP news. I set a TP of 100 pips, and both hit TP in less than 15 mins. DD wasn't to bad either. I think this is a very good strategy for trading news, thanks Embry1.

This update is more for the "use current and bar instead of MA" users (known as TT).
The combination uses open and close prices and if you have the Refresh period the same as you lowest timeframe for ccfp the suggestions may be a bit distorted due to the fact that the open and close of the current bar does not mean very much at that moment.

With the Refresh offset you can set the minutes fxm will wait after it detected a Refresh period change to read the values & update the suggestions and histogram. This way the open en price of the current bar will make more sense.

If you are not planning to use that (TT) soon you can just skip this update.

No really no idea yet.
Haven't seen that much DD and you must have had at least a couple of baskets going through DD and after that winning before you can have an idea where to put your SL.

Ohje...I tihink FXM has explained everything very well in his posts, provided a .set file, even in .txt mode...that is 90% what you do need, for the remaining 10% you have to do your homework, f.i. playing around with settings that suit to your trading style.

Consistency is key! Have a pretty darn good system going. Doing my news baskets plus xmess strat on Monday and Tuesday seem to be doing the trick. Here are my three baskets for the day. Only thing I may change is my profit lock, I think I gave up quite a few pips.

I would have thought, to add a function to the EA. Take an example, a weekly time frame, long direction, when there is a profit of 100 pips, or even less, you get the profit, and start with a buy pending order 10 pips later, until the basket closes on Friday. This to limit the problem of draw down. What do you think?
