I did catch it. Waited to see what the RBA minutes would do and turn into BEOB on the daily. Nasty rape candle on that news, will see if it holds or not.

Hi Emmanuel, I cant seem to get this indicator to work. I have downloaded it and put it in my ''indicator'' but when I try to add it to my charts it doesnt not appear.

try this build509 compiled version.
make sure to delete the old one which you downloaded from that thread.

that was brutal big move to 0.7900... and it just made a new high for 2017.

that's why we must always trade with stop loss.

but the higher TF direction was clear. now it can threaten the 2015 high,0.8162.

one analyst mentioned over the weekend about 0.8400 for the rest of this year.

If you are referring to this old post#69,715, that pdf was to explain to Tibovwh the trade management which he was developing his EA.

the core concept is in that pdf how I trade with Multiple Entries / Multiple Exits.

a lot os posts since 2015 on this ME/ME trading.

you have to read up the posts becaúse I don't have the time to repeat .

When calculating average entry price for a basket, do you use the mid point between the highest entry price / lowest entry price, or do you calculate a true mean value i.e. say for example, buy, 3 basket positions, ME3 price, plus ME2 price, plus ME1 price divided by 3?

hi guys. i'm a new on forex. still need to learn a lot and i find this thread really interesting. i wonder if someone still use this strategy that Big E started? i tried to set up like he do but it doesn't look like what Big E made. Well, there are things and term that i dont know and dont understand. i really appreciate if someone could direct me in a right direction

It is still a valid strategy as long as you follow the rules.

Hi,

You cannot do this when you use lot increment like what chnp did, he has different lot sizes for his entries.
Also when you have rollover of your trades, depending on the broker used, there are other cost like swap incurred.
You can refer to MT4 programmer manual.

I posted an indicator ""AveragePriceOpenPos" [click] to download and to place onto your trading charts. This will show you the average entry price of Buy and Sell open positions.

Ok, thanks for the info. I am also working on basket management with incremental lot size. So what does that indicator calculate, average entry based on lot sizes?

yes. Place that on a chart and do some demo trades with variable lot size trade entries.

Sorry for my absent due to personal problem now I'm back & have a lot to catch up.

Do we exit when price crossed 10ema in opposite direction(invalid trade)? or let Dynamic Cut-loss handle the trades because we would have lot lot of chance to make profit cause we still are in the trade instead of early exit.

Thanks for the help sir. i've been reading this thread page to page from page 1 and taking notes. This really help me a lot

i have downloaded the setting given by Numb3rs and try this strategy in my real account. only for small bidding of 0.01. learning while doing it.

No need to be sorry for your absence in this thread. this is not my thread but anyway welcome back.

You did miss quite a lot in the last 6 months. We trade the D1 chart and using mechanical rules for entry and exit. Try read up the recent posts on what the mechanical rules are. The basic TMS 5-Method remains the same. Instead of the 5EMA Typicla Price, Shift+3 you can use the Price Action Channle 5SSMA set to High-Low. Note, the 10EMA Close price is the middle line of the PAC, so there is very little difference. The key is trading with Price Action and knowing where is support/resistance.
Do not use he Dynamic CutLoss when you are not trading with Multiple Entries/ Multiple Exits.

Take your time, no need to rush back into trading. It will take a while to get back into the market rhythm again.
Also good that you find a few traders and trade together. Do not trade alone.
