Had some problems with that too, until i found out why, and that here i got all i need to make money with xmess Ea and Ferrux Ccfp-diff
and with our experience on many baskets we already tried ... and i no need any extra pins or Ea's to complicate my life.

But just to let you know i try to explain with my poor English what dll is and why is best not to use it ....
Some Ea's Indis are written in Dll because they are faster then the Normal Mql which is made by Mt4
BUt you see, the MQL can be runned (away from virus or Pup) in sand box which is also watched by MetaTrader or protected if so we can say,
Honestly it is best not to use Dll additional files when they are given with other Indicator...

i would never use a dll additonal to it because DLL can access all information and files on your computer.
DLL is not really dangerous, if you know the manufacturer or the person making it ...
Sorry just trying to explain as i am starting some part time programming and i got already only few lessons so not many, and long way to go ...
In other word you can say to those who give you a Dll, that you don't care how fast it can be and you want only the Indi with no additional properties_

Just an update for those looking to start the weekly system - yesterday my basket hit +6.5% but not really 7% so I did not manually close. This morning it is back to break even so I have decided to continue to keep it open in hopes of it actually hitting my target tonight Australia time.

Will keep everyone updated - my settings are the same as post 2 except;

  1. 11 AM GMT is when I open basket on Monday
  2. TP 10% (will close manually if I see it at 7%)
  3. SL 15% (hopefully never gets hit but is there in case the basket goes against me and I'm not at my computer)

In other words, my settings are EXACTLY the same as the settings that xmess7 used to get 11 weeks straight of positive returns.

Bro.. 6.5% is close enuf . If u are still at BE or + close the basket and take the week off.

I'm not a coder so I can not categorically say that the dll caused my problems last week but it wasn't until I remembered my previous issue with a dll that I was able to get my platform back by removing it from my library and clearing Global Variables. I was never able to get the pairs generated by the FXM indi to align themselves with the correct pairs in EAX so no idea what was going on there.

No more dlls for me either.

I always read your post because your writing style is easy to read and always related to the thread in a positive manner. Due to job travel, I simply cannot respond and be as active in this thread as I would choose. I had a really bad experience with dlls a couple of years ago, even after I had done an mbam scan. By the way, how can I PM you? As long as I have been around, I have never PMd a person. Anyhow, thanks for your contributions to this thread and for being such a positive person.

Correct, but during the 11 week run he had it at 15%. Given that I'm not at my PC so much, I would rather give basket some room to move.

Well, i mean as i said before they could be dangerous, unless you know the person and
the way he has built them.. On Mt4 for dummies and from other sources some times you will hear
some different versions from people_ We know xmess and its reputation and i i had followed his projects since the
thread where he built the Ea freebie ? remember some of you was there too maybe ? thread was started by Dredding ,,that systems with semafor and pivots etc ... ...
so the chap (jess) is still here and still developing systems for us and f' cause he is reputable ..

Dll import is a must, what i don't fancy is an external dll being placed into libraries, that's all .... is it not the same thing ? yes and not ... wait plz i study more and i am tell you exactly ..

Dll is the dynamic link library file format for programs of Windows.
Look at a Dll like a wooden library containing many books .. which in this case are files ... these files are all prepared obviously for the reasons needed by the coder, so they are used when a Bigger program needs them ...
That is the reason you will often see the word: Calling the function: it simply means ..
the Boss (the main program) needs a file to complete a function) for example closing an order or placing a TP (when the moment is needed and so on ) ... and so it tells to his helper ,, hey joe, go get me that file and joe calls/takes that file and give it to Big Boss that uses it ,,,,
Sorry a bit elementary maybe but that is roughly what it is for ...

But anyway the main point i wanted to say before, was not really the Dll... but about the too many distractions ...
i am trying to dig a hole and a deep one to find water ... simply meaning that
i am studying the deep meaning of Basketting by understanding behavior of the Ea xmess under different market conditions ..
and some times i see new solutions and Indis, which are fine and useful, but it could simply distract us from our biggest discovery
and we will be digging many little holes going after many indis and Ea's without getting the chance of concentrating on the main thing ...
But anyway .. ohe .. that is just me .. i must be getting old lol .. i seem to able to do less and less things all together ..
All i can do is keep testing what i started and if you guys find out about anything else which is good i will look
at what you do and keep note of it ...

They invented the CCFp in MTF version just for that reason, IMHO
