Dude seriously? How dare you judge me based on me reporting the facts regarding the financial markets in a financial market forum. I did not and would not EVER suggest war is a good means of anything, people suffer and its disgusting, but its a reality we must all collectively face.
What should I have posted? Or should I have closed my eyes and wished that this was not happening?

Hmm..I agree with 'some' but you seem to put it as politics & economics of EU/Jap & other countries don't amount to anything.
Where's that's what will make the $ king for quite some time. Not because US is the best..but cause the rest sucks.
And there will be ($) bear retraces (like this W/M Eur run up)..but that's about it.

Atta what happened is very sad, but the reality is that is what moves markets as well as peoples emotions.

People trade on companies to go bust (Penny stocks) not out of hate or dislike for the company, but on the profit made.

In the bible wars happened, but God has already decided who will win the war!! And the winners benefit!!

It's ok, no need to take it personally. He just vented his feelings/point of view..no biggie. Might not have anything to do with you. People often talks to themselves in the first place.
That's were missunderstandings happen..as people often aren't actually able to read/hear what's written/said due to "their stuff" that's screwing their senses.

As is, Qatar is the least likely war to happen. However it is stirring up trouble, NK i think is going to happen in some way. Historically USD is both bought and sold when war breaks out (not proxy wars but a full scale war). There are two scenarios. 1) there must be a higher supply of dollars in order to pay for the cost of war or 2) investment into war based companies and governments goes up thus lowering supply of that currency.
If NK does have war declared on it, we need to hope that China and Russia do not oppose that declaration otherwise, there will be global trouble and none of us in any region will be unaffected by it.

In 2017, given the lack of need for huge numbers of ground troops, I think scenario 2 is more likely if war does break out. And lets be frank, it fucking sucks, but thats the direction the world has been going since 2008 when Libya was violated and Syria started. The intention of the powers that be was war. Its disgusting, its stupid, its pointless and inhumane. I do what I can here in Greece to help the refugees from Syria, Syria and Greece have a very long history and a large cultural commonality, we cannot let Syrian people suffer, it breaks our heart to see and we have done what we can to help.

No one can make any sense of what is happening in the middle east, Qatar is being accused of the same things that the people threatening Qatar have been accused of. Its highly suspicious and stinks of alterior motives. Like most politically motivated actions, its likely something to do with natural resources.
