Thanks for your kind words and tips/warnings. I trade MT4 live at TitanFX, NZ and haven't so far encountered any notable problems. I trade news as well as scalp indices.

I have been trading long as you say, but am not an expert in any way. The aforementioned posts are intended for those who are interested in spike trading. After trials, some may want to continue or some decide to leave. As I said, very few are participating to post their trades; it may increase hopefully.

We have big news this week. Stand aside or participate is solely one's choice.

I am not an expert on Android but think you may need Windows to trade effectively.

You are doing very well, particularly manual entry like vvFish. Once mastered, I believe manual entry scores high. I haven't got to that stage yet.

You also use AC. Am wondering what latency you are experiencing. Do you use VPS?

Regarding manual entry I still trade small volume because sometimes I choose wrong direction.

Regarding AC I use VPS. Ping to my broker and to AC is <10ms.

I am trying AC, just managed to get the setting done, waiting for the first trade. I am monitoring indicator during the news release, check whether can see the direction before news release to determine the direction. Still cannot see the indication of the direction during the split second.

Any specific indicator is use, and what time frame. Any advise?

Straddling can be profitable, but not all trades.

Manual entry/exit. 0.10 lot Real. 20 pips gain. Could have entered earlier...
AC wouldn't work when there is no change in the interest rate.

There no change in Aud rate too. AC didnt trade, but Price still drop for Audusd.

Interestingly, interest rate news can be traded relatively easily with manual entry. Return is also not bad. Refer to the second chart in the above post.

Instead of trading Audusd for Aud rates release. More pips can be made with GbpAud. see attachment

You are doing a good research Robin. Also try installing Oanda demo, not MT4 but web based, where Oanda offers sec by sec charts. This can be used as a good reference when doing manual entry. Just a suggestion.

i know its out of topic, but can i ask about (maybe, not sure) size a little bit? i just read some page here and that the yellow number in chart show the profit in pippet? some profit its only 40s-100? its about 4-10pips? its need big size to trade?

in simplify: i wanna ask which is better? big pips small lot or big lots small pips? coz 1big news can move a lot of pips. huhuhu a lot of confuse when it comes to practice
