There is a pullback from 112.45 and I think USD/JPY could retrace to 111.70 - 111.60 in the near future.

USD/JPY is not really participating in the volatile environment today. Pair keeps trading around 112.10.

Post fed rate hike, direction should be pretty straight forward for you guys. Carry trade is now fully back in play on long USDJPY whilst USD should started to weaken across the board against all other majors. This phase of unwinding QE & Rates will result in the exact opposite trend that occurred at the genesis of this type of economic policy. Think about what happened to USD when the first 50 BP cut occurred during the financial crisis years. Now that the unwind is picking up momentum, expect dollar weakness except for against JPY. Best play here into year end is long every JPY pair with emphasis on commodity backed pairs (AUDJPY, CHFJPY, CADJPY, EURJPY , etc).

Volatility is so low in U/J atm you don't even really need stops as long as you are positioned long. A drop below 111.77 may negate such a view. Til then looking like a good time to scale into more longs on all dips...

As the old saying goes, "Make hay when the central banks are buying", er something like that lol.
