The pair rebounded from 1.3200 after forming a pin bar on the H4 time frame. I think it will rally back to 1.3300 as part of the correction above the support at 1.3160 - 1.3200.

long from 1.3195 and lookin @ 1.3390 area.

I opened a long position too, at 1.3230. For the moment my target is at 1.3300, depending on how it develops there I may keep it open.

keep in mind that there are the Oil Inventories tomorrow, so today is not expected to be the very volatile day for the CAD

I closed my long position once the pairing reached 1.3300, I think it is forming a consolidation channel between 1.3180 and 1.3300.

With higher lows on the weekly but no convincing trend to trade, I'm waiting for a decent move off this 1.3XX consolidation and guess which way I'm guessing?

you have to have a lot of patience to trade the weekly chart, and news dont concern you cause they are surely inside your 1.3xx consolidation.
The risk is what gives value to an investment.

Yes. You are right. I want in on a move to 1.5+. I keep trying and I have been buying since 1.13. (unfortunately I don't hold any of those trades). I'm making steady profits, though, off shorts and longs.

Yesterday's aggressive down move was only 3 waves down, suggesting another corrective move higher. The trend from May remains down, however.
