So the counting of ticks as per the broker platform?

So, How do we get the true volume information? Any possibility of using true volume information along with MT4?

Volume is activity.

Each tick increases the volume by 1. So the greater the number, the greater the number of ticks. The greater the number of ticks, the greater the activity during the interval.

Studies have shown that tick volume is 90-95% correlated to actual volume.
Without VSA, you're playing checkers while the Smart Money plays chess.

What is 'Volume'
Volume is the number of shares or contracts traded in a security or an entire market during a given period of time. For every buyer, there is a seller, and each transaction contributes to the count of total volume. That is, when buyers and sellers agree to make a transaction at a certain price, it is considered one transaction. If only five transactions occur in a day, the volume for the day is five.

Here open the mt4 with more then one broker and compare the "volume" then come back and tell me they are the same and then we talk...

It's not central that is the problem .....

Yes only based on the ticks from your broker. Unless you have access to some external source, real (global) volume isn't provided by brokers.

By looking at the corresponding futures volumes.

For example, if trading EUR/USD you'd look at the forward month's Euro Futures volumes.

Its price movements are effectively 100% correlated with EUR/USD price movements because of all the automated HFT arbitrage trades keeping them that way.

There isn't a way to get spot forex volume itself, because there isn't a centralized market for spot, so there's no way of monitoring or recording it. It just doesn't exist. If your broker's purporting to provide it, that will be just their own volume, not market volume.

Tick counts and volumes are two different things.
