I have seen some people posted charts with volumes.
Is this volume relate to lot sizes?
Is there any indicator relate to volumes?

Please let me know if anyone knows where I can find more info about this.

the volume indicator shows how much trading is going on at that time, the volume of it.

if you just right click on your chart you can see volumes, or hit ctrl L.

There is a whole set of indicators on volume also.

MT4 Volumes is a ticks counter ... nothing else.

I use the tick vol indicator and have it in a strategy it shows increase or decrease of interest in price levels, areas or specific numbers. I use it mainly to find professional activity. The method took years for me to understand and refine so if your prepared to put in the time and work it really is rewarding and worth the effort if your looking for a simple indicator forget it.

Professional traders aren't eve allowed to look at charts until they've mastered trading o a DOM (depth of market) only. If you're trading just looking at a chart, you're trading blind and wasting your time. Everything a chart shows is a derivative of orderflow which you can read in real time looking at a good DOM. Trust me, and don't listen to all the 'experts' on this forum. Orderflow, Volume, how the game is played, etc. Start there and you will be light years ahead of all the 'experts' on this board. No problem---end of thread.

If it is based on datas from MT4 itself (no external source), then it can't be real volumes.

But sure market profile has a far better overview than the basic tics counter.

There is a built in volumes Indicator in the MT4. Mostly this volumes indicators are based on tick changes. One I found , use and really like is the #6 Volumes Suite in this thread : https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=540706

My understanding is application of Order flow is geared towards scalping type strategy, Is this correct?

How does/Can one apply the order flow concept in trading the big picture i.e. higher time frames?

Hi Mate,

What did you meant by "ticks counter"? Counting changes of the price. (Where EA's are triggered)
