I know this is an old thread , but anyone considering the supply and demand strategy, it does work. I don't know what all the legality issues that Online Trading Academy faced which is now called Pinnacle Institute of trading & investing was , but the strategy does work and there is no need to buy the overpriced courses. Just watch plenty of youtube videos and start practicing, eventually you will have an eye for plotting levels . But all this takes quite some time, don't expect to "get it" in a few days.

What do you think that is what matters most. If you have having success with it then go with it if you dont understand it and its not working for you do not use it but find out, Finding out and not using someones opinion is what going to work, Put in the work and really see, if its for you..
Anyone knows how to refund the money I paid for OTA? I took the professional forex trader course 6 years ago and I hope I can have a refund. I am currently in Canada.

If memory serves, Pinnacle is Sam's new thing and it has nothing to do with OTA. Also, I think Sam had left OTA long before the issues hit. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been allowed to start something new...he would have been banned by the SEC from ever working in the industry again. (I don't know him and did not attend OTA or his new one, just have followed the news about sup/dem.)

I agree and have proven that Supply Demand works, especially if you add a sentiment indicator to it...I posted my trades here on FF for 8 or 9 months showing it works consistently. And I don't mean I posted only trades that worked out. I posted the trades I took as soon as I could take a picture of the chart after entering each trade, provided my reasoning, and also posted follow up charts, and the win/loss results.

It's not for everyone and everyone needs to find one or two strategies that work for them and change them and make them work for their personality/trading style.

One thing that I really like about Sup/Dem is that it works the same for every time frame and every market so I don't need to figure out a new strategy or fix a current strategy when things aren't going well for others in the industry.

95-99% of traders lose everything so there aren't many who can trade successfully for their entire careers.
Just closed this trade after taking the picture...used my supply/demand set up for entry and exit.

After using sup/dem for a few years...I think it works pretty well. Your mileage may vary.

I think Sam paid a $158K fine for some innocuous transgression and resigned from OTA. OTA is alive and strong despite the wailing and whining of disgruntled students who likely went to class and never did the homework and then wondered why they couldn't understand the system. Eyal Shachar settled for several million but in all the case was a nuisance case and the plaintiffs were happy to settle because they really had no smoking gun on anything. I'm surprised Forex Factory allowed their site to be a forum for a nothing case. S&D works for me. I'm just one student but it lives up to the expectation I had but then .... I put in the time.
