Yes still using it here. Actually realised hadn't loaded this week. But have been using defaults
no basket fired this week, but also there was something wrong with the 2am chart (no data was passing into the EA - everything b&w) - now fixed by reloading EA onto that chart

Hi,

Can you please explain how does How "Percentage to Trail" setting works. Have had some strange outcomes in demo.

Is it a initial SL level in % when "Percentage to Start Trailing" is hit, or is it a distance from "Percent to Start Trailing"?

Also, what is the trailing step e.g. how much the profit needs to increase for trail stop to be moved up?

Basically I want to start trail at 1.5% and set trailing SL -0.5% from running profit.

1. in the indicator setting starting hour, its the broker time or GMT time? because my broker using GMT+3 as the time, because the EA default setting is broker time 23:00 to open trade, so i got confuse whether on the indicator setting starting hour is 00:00 or 03:00, thank you

Hey guys I forgot to update this week.

The 23:00 weekly basket triggered and hit TP as well as my other weekly tests.

I am also finished with my daily testing and after compiling all the data later this week, I will post the settings here in the thread.

As the weekly testing is a lot slower I still need another 1-2 months to verify the results as being consistent and then I'll share them as well.

It's a pity there were not more people participating as then I'm sure we could have found many more good settings to use. Unfortunately my PC resources are limited so I could only test a limited number of various settings, and I'm sure there are still many more that can be found with more time and teamwork.

Anyway I know how it works here on FF, the majority are looking for the quick fast profits and they not willing to invest the time and effort needed to find a good profitable system, they only want to be spoon fed. True story..

Hey blam that is strange as I have not encountered that happening on my end. I will be posting another update soon, but that has to do with the VB.

If it happens again check the logs if there was anything printed that might help explain what happened.

The way the TS works is like this.

You set the % that you want the EA to start trailing lets say at 5%, then you set the % to trail, lets say 1%. So now when the basket reaches 5% the TS will be activated and it will move up the SL by 1%. For every 1% thereafter 5% as long as price keeps moving the EA will trail the stop at 1% from BE.

I have to ask i dont have experience with EA is this EA take the trades by itself or I have to put it
Thanks, its somewhat clearer. Just to be sure lets take example of the 3 settings controlling trailing:

Take Profit % of Account=1.0
Percentage to Start Trailing=1.5
Percentage to Trail=0.5

1) What happens if profit of 1.3% is reached but then it falls back below 1%? Is the initial BE set at 1.0% (Take Porfit % of Acc.) level? Is 1% of profit collected?
2) When 1.6% of profit is reached, where is the trailing stop set? At 1.6-0.5=1.1%?
3) What is the trailing step e.g. which setting controls the step after trailing has started?

No trading this week for the weekly baskets, the VB did not trigger.

The daily sets have hit their targets. Almost done with compiling all the data and will share the preset.

Just found your thread here, thanks for all the hard work. I've got a few day set demos running and ran into a bug overnight - the virtual basket stayed open well past the 2 hr limit from the inputs and triggered a real basket opening even after trading was supposed to be done for the day and the virtual basket was set to have closed hours before. The set opens 45 min after Tokyo open and closes 30 min before Frankfurt open. Not a huge issue, just wanted to bring it to your attention!

Thanks again for all you your efforts, nothing like a simple successful strategy to win the day!

Hi gabriel888, can you post a screenshot of your setting particularly the timing and VB settings? Also please make sure you are using the latest version.
