It looks like it is time to embrace the inevitability of a weekly trendline test of 1.0075 (area). Assuming we get there, seems like we would re-test parity. I am hoping to exit some of my longs on a bounce so I can reposition between 1.0075 and .9930. This has been a great 2 yr uptrend, but a weekly close below .9930 would signal the end.

Closed all 3 @ 255 , and reversed entry , short 249 + 246.

eur/usd is very very sick atm ... mentally and physically ... wth has happened in europe ...
Europe will most likely have an annualised GDP of about 2% growth which not bad at all. I just really think that the woes have been overhyped, especially with Greece. Worst case a few banks take a hit but the short term bonds will be renegotiated with the holders and much of this must have been priced into the market. It seems more of a case where any good news out of europe will be snapped up. We definitely cannot rule out a test of the long term supprt TL where we would be around parity, no matter how bullish we are and I am still bullish. Just going to reduce my longs and look to reload from about 1.0100 ish.

Having been away from the markets for a few days and returned, I can see nothing has changed. Greece is still the word and politicians have tried to spoof the market.
Those who feel a Greece default is insignificant are long risk in hope its a bad dream.
As I speak Moody have downgraded Italy.

So the contagion starts and the fear will set in. Its only a matter of time..

AUD fallen to 1.0170

Thanks for the EU news , lasty. Good ... will further short eur/usd ... next bus stop 1.3460 / 1.3440.

For AU .. if RBA meeting minutes come out in 3hrs ... downside target 1.0110 ... upside target 1.0240.

Italy credit rating has been downgraded by S&P. Big moves south! for eur & aud it seems

Look at 15m tf chart .... those candles 180-200 are occupied by longs .. sellstops / mixed stops must be below 180 ...

Asian currencies maybe under pressure again today from the Italy news. Watch for their CB's selling reserves to defend them.
AUD & NZD could be the main sufferers like what happened last thursday ( when I got caught long AUD/JPY)

Short @ 1.0192. Chance of rate cut next month gaining some momentum. We'll see what happens in 1 hour 20mins.

Something tells me we'll be below parity this week.
