A too sophisticated message?

I'm destroyed by this fact that it is impossible to understand each other.
Be thirsty of knowledge and intellectual curiosity... sensitive, inventive and creative!
This - to me - appears to be the remedy.
At the end of the day what matters is our own personal "peace of mind" and "personal satisfaction".

I perfectly remember all the swear words and obscenities I received. One by one.
No mercy for this vulgar, uneducated nothingness.
Mother Market will break them one by one.

My point. There is no reason to be a permanent loser in the market.
If one want to change... he must understand where his own problem is.

1. Lack of knowledge and lack of practice.
Trading has a glorious history.
Wanna-be traders approach the market without understanding what markets are and what being a trader means.
They quote Sun Tzu, (great fti lesson)... but they don't understand what Calculation, Temple, Art, Tao are.
Sun Tzu is the main point of reference of the ideas of “Preparation” and “Internalization”.

2. They don't know how to properly define the Market Phases.
They think that a market is going up when, in fact, it's going down, or vice versa.
They are simply always trying to revert the market in the wrong place.
(Livermore first lesson...
If we are in Up Trend, price is never to high to buy.
If we are in a Down Trend, price is never to low to sell)

4. Even if they are able to identify a trend or phase, they go against the flow
They sell when the market is going up or buy when the market is going down, in the hope of making a small gain on the reaction.
(Typical of this idea of the “Reversion to the mean”... Second Livermore Lesson: People have no idea of how powerful a Trend is.
Gann explained how to trade a Counter Trend Move.)

5. They believe in this thing of scalping the Market. 1 point/pip here... 3 points/pips there.
No idea of what a Cycle is.
No idea of what a “Bullish/Bearish Campaign” is...
No idea of who are the owners of the Markets.
No idea about how spread works.

6. Not to speak of this “Not using stops” thing.

7. Even if they know how to read the market correctly and use their stops correctly,
they often `overtrade', not aware of the risk.

8. They have no mindset and consequently no discipline
and ultimately ruins themselves violating the classic "Cut your losses and let your profits run."
(Third Livermore Lesson... First Gann Rule. And this is really a long story.)

All of these mistakes can be avoided.
How?
Simple! By acquiring an understanding of the Science of the Markets. That's to say: reading, studying and simulating.
And first of all by learning how to read this wonderful and amazing thread that TAF is.

But it is not so easy to do so. And neither simple!
Who says this is a liar! And is fooling you!
Trading is one of the most difficult task on the Planet.
Trading is nor for everyone (me including of course)
Every day on the Markets we face the most brilliant and most paid minds and brains of the World .
Acquiring knowledge requires commitment and passion.
But people on FF want easy money and spoon-feeding in education. They don't like searching, training and pain.
And here is where a wrong conception of Rescue Mission comes on the stage!
No problem … one can quietly goes 500 points/pips under water for what they call a “counter attack!” (sic)
No problem... they know how to stop Tsunami... Here they are with their shining armour against a Trend Freight Train!
Martingale, Averaging down, Hedging... all is good to compensate their inability to Read the Tape.

Why this wrong mindset and mentality?
Don't ask me.
I'm really clear in what I think:
“There is only one side of the Market. Price is a Flow. Or you are in or you are against.”
And I'm here fighting this Forex Factory “Losers for Ever” attitude: every day and with all my forces.

My message.... First of all concentrate on the correct reading of Market direction.
Not on your need of being safe remaining (stubborn) on the wrong, dark side of the move.

True Art of War 2. About Col. John Richard Boyd.

Boyd was an excellent fighter pilot.
He was so good that he had a $40 standing offer that he would pay to any pilot that could defeat him in aerial combat in less than 40 seconds.
Boyd could start at a disadvantaged position, and in less than 40 seconds, defeat any opposing pilot.
He never had to pay anyone the $40.

During his time at the Weapons School, he developed his O.O.D.A. (observe, orient, decide, and act) concept,
a development of the inherent decision-making process that every individual performs.
Boyd instructed Weapons School pilots that...
the one who can cycle through their OODA process loop quicker than their opponent during combat would gain the tactical advantage.
The OODA Loop enabled pilots to adapt quickly to rapidly changing situations.

Nothing change in my view of things... everyday, on the battlefield.
OODA - Observe, Orient, Decide, Act.

1. Intelligence – Searching for conditions that call for decision;
2. Design – Developing and analysing possible alternative actions of solution;
3. Choice – Selecting a course of action among those;
4. Implementation – Adopting the selected course of action in decision situation.

And when you act... act!
