If I'm holding a position in one direction one day, and then I get a signal in the opposite direction the next day, do I take the opposite direction signal or only trade in the direction of my current position?

Let's assume I can trade in both directions at the same time using sub-accounts.

Thanks,

Visual One

This is one of few questions I have not yet figured...opinions are welcome!

USDJPY retraced back 100% and closed break even. I opened instantly the short side of the same IB, it penetrated 95.50 and now free trade again and this time with the long term trend

This is not a DIBS trade as marked by the red line. The bar you pointed out is an IB and it is below the Daily open at 06:00GMT, but your entry point is below the low of the bar, not below the close of the bar (where the red line is located).

That is exactly right, a valid dibs trade has you enter at the break of the IB low/high not the close.

Hmm, seems you are taking those trades earlier than 6gmt("todays" price line yet not confirmed). This conflicts with the rules. But hey, what ever works for you

I break even too on usdjpy. The yesterdays usdchf is still on with 130+ and i just opend another usdchf long same direction, lets see if it keeps going up. Also just opened usdjpy long, even thou the "main trend" is down, but i play with daily trend(6 gmt price), which is currenly up.

Oh, this is second dibs long for usdchf today, the first penetration pulled back and got hit with a loss about hour ago. I only risk1.5% of my account so no worrys. My plan is to try and get a long runners and trail them with daily 20 sma

Well, If you read the Peter's posts, you will find out he's been using it 15 years ..so
This method WILL work if you use proper money / trade management. Many small losses, but the good long winners are bigger. "Only loosers are afraid of losers", "you cannot win if you dont lose some" If you'v read this thread and the peter's posts you should not be asking this. Back to reading!

This method is not good for "fade" as peter said. If you follow this method 100%, you will automatically cut your losses short and let your winners ride!

Nice ! I have a dilemma, while GBPJPY is rising, my open position on USDCHF is falling...they correlate currently opposite so not so much profits. Still, i will not close and take any profits, i'm willing to be break even or longer daily trailing.

You have must have lots of pips because you entered on GBPJPY early
