timidave, go to your upper right hand where it shows your Ultron version you are using... click on it and an expert box should appear. Go to the middle tab which reads Common. The Enable Alert, Allow Live Trading AND Allow import of external experts Box should be checked. If that doesn't work, try re-loading the Ultron Version you want to use and start again.

Autotrading is disabled. Click the button "AUTOTRADING".
Not sure whats wrong with my tick data.I have tried downloading from tickstory and other data as well still, my backtest results are fluctuating.

I am using the latest file and default sets with EURUSD pair

who can add a little different risk to the owl. When the stop is triggered, the risk increases by N times(the volume of the next trade), (if two negative trades in a row are X*N*2). When closing a winning position, the risk becomes the same X1. Who thinks about it?
I had just about given up on this EA, but I opened the chart to take a look at what it's doing and was very surprised to see this:

Almost doubled the account...it'll probably lose the lot in the next few days though! Hehehe.

Hi Paul, why you were to given up?, it looks great .
What are you going to do with the EA?
I am running the EA with a real account with a small amount since 6 months, results looks great and i was going to deposit 30x times more , and now i see your doubt then i like to know if there is any long term problems with the EA or something, thank you.

it is good to know you are using it consistently in real account. If it works for you consistently then it is nice you can continue to use it. Just that after few setbacks few of us didnt use it in real account. May be fixed lot may make it sail through the rough patches.

Stats given by PaulDv shows win rate of 78% which is considerably great.

My doubt was because it went into a big losing streak initially, and lost over 70% of the account. However, to come back from that loss to nearly doubling the account is pretty remarkable, so maybe I should put my money where my mouth is

may be those few days.. that was one bad losing streak. all excitement gone down. but seeing those stats is nice and encouraging.

Kind of forgot about this thread and recently looked at my account. Yes, it's for GBPUSD on 1H timeframe.

Mind telling me when you started your test?
My test started on 30th of January and I kind of forgot about it. Had another look at the account today and I saw that it was up 28% for me.
Hi,
I’ve been using in real account both Ultron Lite and Ultron PDV and so far happy with it. My percentage is higher than it should be because when trade is going a bit against me, I add couple of trades in the same direction. A bit risky, I know.
In a month (Ultron lite) , 100% of trades reached 35 pips goal
SL is at 70 pips and no loss yet.
Lot size start getting bigger so will decrease risk soon

Good to hear from you Paul, I've been wondering where you have been. I also lost hope on the EA and came back after I realized the rough times it had was just for a season. Brexit contributed greatly to those strings of losses anyway. I'll post my test results soon. I just started using it on real again too. My plan is, once I have 2 consecutive loses, I will stop the EA until the market is stable

This test results on demo is just for a month so far and i risked 25% per trade
