Here's the MT5 version. Note: I have added Ultra as an 'add on' into my existing Crossover Ea. If Ultra = true, this ea will only use Ultra strategy. I've also added new trailing methods (Trailing based on MA, highcandles, %profit, ATR, etc). I am a big fan of MA trailing, that is the position will close the profit if the pair touches particular MA. There is no expiry or anything like that so feel free to play around with it and see what works best. Here's performance summary. {file} {image} {image} {image}

Thanks a lot!
I will be glad to check it out in detail and will share my findings.

I'm sorry but I have one seemingly stupid question right here.
Regarding to the input 'Open Hour' and 'Close Hour' which I have been a little bit struggling with,
I'm curious that if it's referring to my platform's server time? Or my local time?
I'm using IC-markets, should it should be GMT +3 right? and then the Open Hour and Close Hour would then be '10' and '23' if I'm right.
Thanks for any help!!

(I'm asking because I have some different backtest results compared to some of the reports posted, with the same input, yet mine is still 99.9%.)

Hi,
Backtest looks good for the last 2 years. I tested before that, but crashes, so I am trying to optimise it.
What are ExponentialFactorIncrease and ExponentialFactorDecrease refers to?
Thanks

{quote} ULTRON_LITE_3.7m - Error 131 should not be present in this version. I remind you: in this version you can use 2 types of trailing stop The first in the default settings The second works from TP: Install TP for example 35 Tralling_from_Profit = TRUE, TrailingStop = 4, TrailingStep = 2. {file}

Hi Pawel: Please, because it orders buy / sell just if the Volume[0] is less than 1. This only happens the first seconds at the start of each Time Frame (i.e. H1) What is the logic in this issue? Thank in advance ...

Brexit is upon us. By 31 Jan UK will be legally out of europe. So maybe its the right time to test Ultron. I've been forward testing Ultron PDV and Ultron Lite since November.From the looks of it Ultron PDV is much more stable and consistent. Ultron Lite is great too but compared to Ultron PDV, i think it falls short.

I haven't responded to this thread for a while. Wanted to just share; starting to the new year, I have been running the 'ol Ultron Exponential 3.3 on GDP/USD and on EUR/USD. Also been running Lite on GBP/AUD and on GBP/CAD. Mostly have been getting trades on the Exponential trades (GDP/USD and EUR/USD), mind you. I am currently up 11% for the year. Exponential settings are standard and the Lite settings are per FEEX settings (thanks bro). Based on my own trading, I only trade Tuesday thru Thursday, never Monday or Friday or on any Holiday. 11% is good so far for 2020.
Just my two cents....

Hi arci11,

That is how I use the Ultron system, correct. It initially was a bit of an experiment over the months that Ultron was evolved thru several versions. I use Exponential 3.3 on GBP/EUR and on EUR/USD..... and Ultron Lite 3.7 on GBP/AUD and also on GBP/CAD.

I turn off all the above Ultron pairs and I don't personally trade on Monday and on Friday due to my own method of trading the Forex market for certain reasons. Overall, I do not fully depend on Ultron. Sometimes I see that the system opens a trade right at a support or resistance level and I analysis whether I should stay in the trade or not, based on the direction it opened versus the support or resistance levels. Sometimes I close the trade with a small gain or loss. Hours later, I'm proven that I did the right move. Analyzing Support and Resistance levels are key in Forex trading.
Hope that helps arci11

Hi zaneG,

Thank you for the great clarification regarding your approach to the market.
By the way, it has been very accurately noted that it is not recommended to trade robots on Monday and Friday.

You're welcome arci11. I agree with the no trading on Monday or Friday. I don't personally trade on those days. Historically, the most pips (in a trend-like scenario) are had on a Tuesday, Wed and Thursday. Just a subjective opinion.

Cheers

I've realised that if you avoid trading at key resistance and support zones, specifically on the daily and weekly timeframe, you will avoid unnecessary losses. So, i got a support/resistance indicator that helps me identify those points. When price is close to those points,i stop the EA from trading. It would be an awesome thing to get it integrated into the UltronEA, such that when price is close to support/resistance on the daily or weekly time frame by x number of pips, the trade will not be taken. Here is the indicator i use
