it doesnt matter where you live. the time in your platform is the one which is significant becos this is the timezone of your broker. if you use in canada interbankfx and i use in europe interbank then it is the same chart becos we use the chart of the brokers timzone.

Hi Art_1..

The most recent bar with an arrow above it is bar 5 of the 5bar set-up which I was only showing as being equal with the middle (3rd bar )..The way I understand it when a more recent bar has the same high lvl..you draw the line to the high of that bar...not to the 3rd bar...

i think you wont find a "perfect timezone". today you will have in this timezone a fail signal and tomorrow in the other one. i use all 4 diffrent timezones(4 diffrent platforms at the moment). as for now it seems to me that gmt+3 gave the best signals but i think in the longer term you wont have big diffrence if you stick to one.

Well I use NF. You can even trade commodities nasdaq, and such things with them.

Yeah I think you are correct on that one, but at the moment I follow the original rules by moutekitrader. Good point though.

Actually Angler you are right on what you understood his question was, which is what I understood too.

Jumper, his last candle of the setup is above the line and he thinks it is a buy. He has to wait until the next 4h candle opens before determining that unless he looking at prior points, which it appears he may be. I would wait on that one.

There is no way on this green earth that a bar can open below its low nor can it open above its high. However, it can open at the low or high.

The only way is if the bars gap but gapping is rare during these trade formations.

I think what Horace means is that the first condition is for the bar to open below the trendline. The 2nd condition is that price must reach or exceed the low of the bar that broke the trendline. If it doesnt then you have another support point. If it does then take the trade.

PS. Using these conditions then all of the Mouteki trades would still be successful . Some would have been entered later with the cost of some pips.
That makes sense.... So right now as I type this the breakout candle low throught the demand line was 8814 and the next candle which opened below the demand line had a low of 8816 ..

Sooo by definition this trade should not be taken.. Is that right?

Thinking that we might not be able to get into a trade unless your already in..I have 50mins for new bars...but only 20mins till data time...market could be a little unstable for entry..
