Well there is now a red candle with big wicks on each side on daily chart, to get in or not?

Yes, it bounced yesterday, but I think a drop of around 200 Pips is enough to take profit. Just closed manually, 150 for a risk of 45 is more than enough.

Thanks for your feedback and I understand what you mean..

1. What I should have made clear first was that I focus on the daily TF and (try to) use the hourly TF to trigger trades - What may be an issue is that Im allowing the noise of the other TFs to cloud my judgement which might be adding to my problem!

2. What I should do when sharing to the forum is share the screen that I'm working from. Thank you! - Lets see how it goes now

Can you show a chart with your trade?
So here's my take on a couple of pairs..

USDCHF

  1. Price approaching daily resistance
  2. Await bearish candle before considering short
  3. Ensure suitable R/R before considering trade
  4. Target at rising trend line

Hi everyone. I write here because I'm a swing trader and a scalp trader too but I have a problem. Usually if I want to go short, in an uptrend, I wait for a first LL and LH. Some times this work but some time it does not. Is there any method you use to crealy identify when a trend is finishing?

The attach image is an example. I entered short when price made the first LL and LH.

I am certainly not an expert, but if I use 30/50/100 ma's, then I will not enter if the ma's are kind of jumbled up, like at your entry. If I wait for the ma's to kind of line up, then an entry might be later, but perhaps also safer. In this case, a bit of a fakeout down, then price takes off up in a nice trend again.
