All patterns, all MA, all TA tools are just b.s....What are they for but a reason to buy and sell the dollar...S/R, TL, MA, Momentum, volatility...all b.s....we might as well open a 15M chars and simply ask: is PA going north or south right now? If the answer is north, I trade north and be patient. Hold my horses and wait....if wrong, do not worry, give it a couple hours and you will see PA going in your direction...If wrong, exit and reevaluate.

Now, and this is even more interesting than making money, this is exactly the way life behaves...and...

Lusan i am feeling exactly same with trading...life you make a decision and then the Outcome is preety independent bcz the outcome will happen which is already been decided.. the best is we can have the odds taken care of.....

Also food for thought... if outcome is not guranteed so would you say a guy is a looser who gets out and does his 110% best and somehow still doesnt get what he wants...would you say him a looser too???

if a guy gives its best...he is a winner always...regardless of the outcome.

I think that the meaning of Nintendo is "Do your best, the outcome belongs to the Gods." That is what I believe.

Why is that so? Because the only thing that we control is the commitment and sincerity of our efforts. The rest is out of our hands...

Winning or lossing depends from either our ignorance or from uncontrollable forces....When we learn and study we give ourselves the opportunity to remove our ignorance as an obstacle to our success. It does not warranty success but then we know that it was not because of us.

By the way, PA is a ruthless teacher. She does not permit careless and emotional trading.

Regards

PS.: To study does not mean to read book, but to look at the charts and to become deeply familiar with them. I mean: to listen to her music.

Very interesting.

Hi, lusan. A question from me.

When you do "attack" series 1-2-3-5-8, do you just add or close previous level and attack the secend level, for example, you did a attack 2, do you close 1 first?

I have no fixed rules...I do as my gut tell me to do...all my decisions are driven by my mindset and the many hours watching the charts.....Why? Everytime I set any fixed rules about my MO, I find situations where I feel that I must break the rules.

Ideally I should enter 1+2+3 and I should profit -3-2-1 but sometimes I just take the 1 or the 2 and then reenter the same level...why? I just do not know...I just do...Anyway, here it is an example of 1-2-3-5.

the attack sequence failed and the 5 was a resque operation. I do not distinguish between attack and rescue. Why should I? If the trend is valid, then it is just adding more fuel to the fire.

the SMA12 is not used at all. It is there for decoration. I remove from my chart. Still it might usefull for bias selection. Remember if SM48 and SMA12 agree then I should consider to agree with them, too. I joined the club!

See also post No2. where you have an attack (-1-2-3) and then all the position closed on profit at the same time. It is my perfect setup.

Enjoy it.

Out of trading shape after xmas vacation...review approaches...Wife told me to go back to practice mode, to flex the muscle and relax.

returning to basic....15M/5M/1M....1H to confirm current 15M trend only..

Reversals are very important.

Main questions
1-What was the last 15M reversal?
2-What is the current 15M state? Reversal alignments show 15M trend.
2-Any impulse out of a consolidation/congestion?
3-How deep into the impulse?
4-How deep into the consolidation/congestion?
5-Where are the 15M TL and Price Level zone?

Strategies depend on the answer to these questions.

Strategies
1-Impulse reversal
2-Consolidation reversal
3-Impulse trading
4-Short term
5-TL/Price level zone

Today, just 110 pips, but this after some crazy beginning...Used Impulse reversal strategy...(returning to basics is not so easy)...minimum sizes used...similar to my first trades but more clarity and relaxed

LuSan,

I see clearly, now and from the beginning, that you are an open minded person. I have a strong empathy with this. You are young and full of energy. Keep up your excellent work. This is a long and winding road. Some people get there faster and I am sure you are one of those. Best wishes. Jairo.

A little fear going around my mindset today. I missed a short opportunity and I pull the plug just a little too soon for my taste...why? I was tired and beginning to lose focus. Was I supposed to stop if mindset was tired? Yes, so let us ourselves.

Note: I like this new format for capturing my dances: it is clear and consistent.

I do exactly what my last post show:
1) Check for the bias from 1D-1H-15M
2) Trade 5M
3) Try entering on retracement

I watch 1M sometimes...it depends on my mood. and boredoom.

I forgot that Trichet was talking...It is NOT a good idea to be in when this man speaks...very risky...any way...Rescue mode all the time...This was a very simple and soft dance that I hope to repeat when things are tough.

Next week, I return to December trading size. No more trading this week.
