Profit: 186 pips
Entries: +1+2+3+5-5-3-3
Max deployed troops: 11

Bias:1D/1H -long
Strategy:Range dance, pure price action

Mindset: Calm and relaxed. Greed rose its head at the end, I killed him with a long sword and closed my trades. Thoughts: “It is good to know that I could either “turn on the wind” or “5M trend fight.” It does not make any difference. Be fearless. A trader is a risk manager. I know I can manage the risk. So bring them on; I am ready.”

A very good day.

Lessons:
1. Be fearless and fight to the end
2. Slow taking the profit
3. Never hesitate on entering or exiting a position.

The bears are running wild. I left 2 small troops in the field gathering food and other provisions. So far they have collected more than 500 pips. I trail the profit with 150 pips catastrophic stop. (Why? It is not a dance strategy but 1D/1H PA reading and riding the big wave.)

Why unattended troops? Because I am refining/testing my long sword. I mean, my 1D trend reading skills. Since for me the mindset is the most critical trading element, I need to risk cash for the market teaching to sink deep into my unconscious mind.

Edit: I just brought home both troops with 613 pips. Another troop just left with the assignment of doing some ninja killing overnight.

Profit: 190 pips
Entries: +1+2+3-3+3-3+3-3+5-5+5-5+5+8-8
Turn on the wind: -40+29
Max deployed troops: 29

Bias: 1D -long
Strategy:Rescue operation, turn-on-the wind strategy

Mindset: Calm and relaxed. As yesterday , the ghost of greed (his name is Golly) came late to the show. I have completed the rescue and collected 90 pips and Golly came and told me: “ After several hours, you better get another 100 pips.” I saw the bulls around and I convinced myself of bearishness for just a little bit more. The chart was screaming “Bull, bull, bull!” I did not listen. I became even more nervous as Ben and Paulson talked about the crisis. I kept seeking my 100 pips. Suddenly, the bulls said: “No more.” I saw it and I stroke hard with a single sword strike: I reverted big and I won the war.

It was a terrible trading day. The chart told me to revert and I did not . Look the large arch covering the 5M: the bull were becoming even more stronger as Ben and Paul talked. Several time I almost pull the plug but I remebered that I fight to the bitter end. So I fought and I won...but I am exhausted.

However, I remember one of Musashi’s lessons: “ Mow him right down without even giving him time to blink his eyes.” This is a worse case scenearious that tested my army resources and my decision making speed.

A terrible trading day, that taught me several lessons.

Lessons:
1. Be fearless and fight to the end
2. Listen to the chart absolutely.
3. When you revert to revert hard.
4. Never hesitate

Note: 3 kingdoms will saying "Bull" but I chose to fight it...Shame on me!

Edit: I'll take tomorrow off b/c Ben at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm and financial mess. Market might be too erratic for my taste. I will enjoy a summer day.

Profit: 55 pips
Entries: +1+2-2-1
Max deployed troops: 3
Bias: 1D/1H – long

Strategy: Failed short dance

Mindset: Calm and relaxed. Tested profit taking during news announcement. Reduced daily profit target due to the current financial crisis. I believe I need to take it easy today because the market is somewhat nervous. I fell that bulls are afraid; I remain a bear and declined the next dance.

I executed a news strategy for scout on the money in the high side of a range: Set the scout PT at about 10 pips from PA and wait for the spike to get you out. It will close your trade and your dance.

Excellent day with a beautiful rescue operation and extended scout profit. No need of 3rd attack wave. Trading session lasted 1 hour. Now we just watch the show.

Warning: By coincidence, 1st wave attack happens right on top of the SMA(12). There is no connection between my trading and that MA which I keep to honor fti's teachings and for later deeper home trading study. During trading, I become totally unaware of it; I give my full attention to the 1M time frame.

Lessons:
1. Be fearless and fight to the end
2. Listen to the chart absolutely
3. Maintain your discipline
4. Never hesitate

No trading today b/c:

1) Friday-->short trading day with Oanda
2) Finacial crisis--> Unclear bias
3) 1D time frame shows big doji--> market in suspence.. everybody is waiting.

B) -10-10+10-20+20-20+20-8+8-8+8+2+10
Max deployed troops: 32

Bias: 1D - short
Strategy: Bulls against 5M trend

Mindset: Calm and relaxed. What a lesson! Last night I decided to change my routine. Assuming that this is a real job, I should be in the office early morning, so I began trading early. Of course, this affected my mindset and I made 2 big mistakes: (1) wrong size for my second entry, and what it a terrible mistake (2) I closed my full skew with a large loss by entering the wrong way.

I breathed out and I told myself, “hey…you are trading for the book, and a full day is ahead…trade you plan…assume that those trades are still there…show me your fearless trades…trade.” By that time, the full army should be engaged, so I kept going knowing that I was going to fight until my book was back out of the red and that the reserve army could be brought in to fight along the bleeding soldiers, etc.” I psyched myself to fight to the death.

Even though, there were two mistakes, I am very happy. No because of the large booty, but because I tested 2 critical components of my trading strategy: (1) Mindset stability during catastrophic events, and (2) Book protection against 5M trend.

I find amazing that my max deployed troops did not reached the limit of my full army, that I ended the war on the reversal, and that I got today all the pips that I was supposed to get this week.

Lessons
1.Be fearless
2.Mistakes? Breath out and keep trading the plan
3.Never give up

There is so much financial stuff going on and PA dance erratically. Trading is riskier than normal because if I am found against the trend, I am not sure that market will have the volatility and the waves needed for my MO and MM.

One of the few rules I have left is "Preserve your capital." So no dance trading today. I will long sword dance and enjoy myself.

In 2 days, I will be taking 2 weeks vacation so I will stop trading until I return.

Profit: 2041 pips
Max win: 463 pips
Max loss: 36 pips
% win: 94 %

Trading time/session
Max: 5 hr
Min: 50 min
Trading days: 17 days

I do not calculate % ROE because I believe that (1) earned pips is independent of account balance and (2) thinking about cash hurts my mindset.

Good luck and happy trading

Main rules:
1. Buy low and sell high
2. Trade for the book.
3. Never trade with news announcements
4. Never trade on Fridays after 10:00 am
5. Never trade without a relaxed mindset

Laws:
1. Mindset is everything
2. Preserve your capital
3. Be fearless -never give up.

Armies=70 troopsà Regular: 45 troops Reserve: 25 troops
SkewsàAttack/Rescue: 1-2-3-5-8-13-21

Timing: 1M PA volatility.

Max troop size = (Account balance * Leverage)/45
Daily profit target: 100+ pips

Main questions:
1-What does the 1D candle say? Bull or bear?
2-What is the 1H NOW trend? Is it going up or down? Is it reversing?

Pure PA Strategies:
1. Trend long: "buy lows."
2. Trend short: "sell highs."
3. Profit taken: @ 15 pips or mindset dependent.

Against 1H trend or tsunami:
Either (1) "Turn-on-the wind" dance at will and hold,
or (2) “death dance” and fast exit.

Under study: What is the best way to use the 3 kingdoms strategy?

Back from vacation. I will resume trading tomorrow.

However, I will stop posting my trades in this journal. Why? I do not know...I just feel that I should stop because I feel that I paid my debt to those that gave me so much. The journal will remain open to answer any question that some might have about my forex journey. This journey is ongoing and I am very happy.

Listen to this; all is here:

Look what I found:

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...93&postcount=7

also

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...34&postcount=1

This is very similar to my fibo kew strategy. However he uses stops and also some other things that are not really needed and might even hurt you. But a good read.

Enjoy.

Hi luSan

I find your journal very informative. Thank you for posting it.

I'm following the Fti's thread for few months now and I'm trying to learn.

I have some questions, if you don't mind:

You say:
Max troop size = (Account balance * Leverage)/45
Can you explain this?
If I have accont balance 2000$ and my broker gives me leverage 400:1, that makes 2000*400/45=17.700$
If i have mini lots 1Lot=1000$, then you suggest max 17.7 lots to be used in a single battle? Right?
A t he beginning of your Journal you are saying:
Attack sequence: 1-2-3 and
Rescue sequence: 3-9

At the last page you say: Attack/Rescue: 1-2-3-5-8-13-21
Which sequence do you actually use?

And the last question:
How strong scout do you enter the session with? I mean, on a 2,000$ account, how big should be the scout?

Thank you your answers and good luck
Piksy

If I have accont balance 2000$ and my broker gives me leverage 400:1, that makes 2000*400/45=17.700$

This is the size of a scout. Then you have: one scout with 17.7k units for E/U and a ful army of 45 troops or scouts. If you deploy 1 scout...you have 17.7 units out...if you deploy 2 troops, then you have 35.4k out....etc.

* I think that an army of 70 troops is better than of 45. I am still exploring this concept. So far, the max troop I ever deployed was 29. -And that was nerve resking. Normally I deploy up to 11. That is level 4 in the fibo sequence.

If i have mini lots 1Lot=1000$, then you suggest max 17.7 lots to be used in a single battle? Right?
No. I do not suggest anything. This is what I am doing...I am not teaching anything either..

The 17.7 would be the maximum size that I would ever put as the size of my scout...It is not the size that I am actully using...the real size depends on the development of my mindset...Even though my current hit rate is 100 %, I do not have the gut yet to place a scout with this size out.

A t he beginning of your Journal you are saying:
Attack sequence: 1-2-3 and
Rescue sequence: 3-9
This was abandoned. Now the attack sequence is 1-2-3-5-8-13. See the privious post.

At the last page you say: Attack/Rescue: 1-2-3-5-8-13-21
Which sequence do you really use?
That one. There is no difference between attack and rescue anymore. Both attack and rescue was assimilate within my mindset. It is now a way of thinking. I just attack. When the book met the target then I begin to think that I am rescuing (if there is any open position)

And the last question:
How strong scout do you enter the session with? I mean, on a 2,000$ account, how big should be the scout?
It will depends on you ability to see a trade going down 100 pips and not having a heartattack. Believe me it is important to start very small. Fear and greed are all around and they must be managed. I wouls suggest stargting out with 100 units and to build up from there as your dancing skill incrases.

Thank you your answers and good luck

This is the way that I dance...It is not the way other people do it... I think that each person might end up with a different style....Since I believe that trading is basically mindset and everybody has a different mindset then all trading style would be somewhat different, right?

Good luck to you

What a reversal today!

Note the double bottom in the 1H chart!
I need to keep an eye on potential reversal always b/c of the pull-the-plug open question?
After the break of 1.2670 then the north we go. Note the breako of the 1.2523.
At that point, I believe the double bottom became active!?

Edit: I was out of the market when this happened. I passed 14 hrs checking on different strategy to determine my survival fighting this jump. Conclusion? Yes, but the book drawdown would be up to 10 % which is within my current foreign capital....However just in case, I will slow down my sizing progression. Insteat offf every 2 weeks, I will upsized every 3 weeks...God help us.

yea i was shorting euro last night , made good pips and then left one scout out ... detected a strong presence against my scout and the chart already formed a good upswing previously... took the scout out and watched the euro went 200+ pips ...
