Hello vitek, I really like FTMO, but I would like you to start offering an Instant Funding plan, we are already in other Prop Firms and we don't want challenges, we want Instant funding, do you know when it will be?

After much deliberation, I had another bash at FTMO, on the $50k account.

I've tried a few times in the past and was shocked when I saw the history of attempts!

Really curious to see how it works out.

Passed the Challenge stage and now pretty much passed the verification stage, with the exception of the 10 trading days objective.

Looking forward to seeing where it leads, and possibly aiming for larger account challenges.

Note: Will post the verification stage (final stage) certificate here for the authenticity of my post in due course. In the meantime attached is a live update until passing the final stage with 10 trading days.

Hello everyone,

I hope you're ready for the exciting upcoming week, I'm signing in to keep you on track with the recent updates at FTMO.

On Tuesday, 25 Apr 2023, NATGAS.f will roll to the new future expiry. In order to facilitate the process and protect the accounts from possible liquidity shortages and temporary price spikes, regardless of the account stage (FTMO Challenge, Verification, or FTMO Account) or the account type (Normal, Swing), traders are required to close their positions on the affected symbol before 9:00 am of the relevant day above.
Trading will be enabled again at 10:05 am on the same day. Eventual positions left open after 9:00 am will be closed at the prevailing market price and pending orders will be deleted. All times are expressed in the MetaTrader server time (GMT+3/CEST+1).
Due to ANZAC Day on Tuesday, 25 April 2023, AUS200.cash will open at 10:10 am (GMT+3 / CEST+1).

We have also recently significantly upgraded our safety measures. From now on, you can set up 2-factor authentication with the Google Authenticator or FreeOTP Authenticator app for logging into your Client Area at FTMO.
Just go to your Client Area, open up the Profile section, and click on the Security tab, which is where you'll find the option to activate this protective measure. Once you're there, follow a simple step-by-step process and enter a higher level of security. We are also planning the option to add multiple devices in the near future.

Hi Ak386, first of all, thank you for the words of appreciation. However, providing traders directly with an FTMO Account without any prior test would completely contradict our current business model, it is highly unlikely that we would develop such a product as "instant funding".

Hi Jezzode, seems so far so good! Just please keep in mind that the shift from FTMO Challenge/Verification to FTMO Account is psychologically very notable as the profits suddenly become withdrawable. Remember that you are in no rush, fingers crossed!

Steady trading got me through the challenge and verification stages twice. Having a mad moment trying to chase a small but not insignificant loss caused me to lose my live trading account. However, FTMO paid out the profits on the date they said they would.
Trying for challenge/verification/live account no 3 now!

Sounds great, good luck with the new challenges too - I had a bit of a mad day yesterday (day 1 of the live account), but managed to end on the top 10 leader board for FTMO in the $50k category - all be it in 10th place!

Back to being sensible now though and ready to trade the account with sound risk/reward, rather than getting excited.... a nice little bumper start is never a bad thing!

Welcome to this week’s update, today is going to be truly swift. We’ve had quite a wild week with FOMC, Refinancing rate, and NFP in place, so I hope you managed to use the volatility to your benefit, let’s dive into the news.

Due to the Coronation of King Charles, UK100.cash will close early at 11:00 pm on Friday (today), 5 May 2023, will be closed the whole day on Monday, 8 May 2023, and will reopen at 3:00 am on Tuesday, 9 May 2023.
As usual, all times are expressed in the MetaTrader platform time (GMT+3/ CEST+1).

Hello guys, 2 months ago I signed up for a prop trading challenge with this company, I passed the challenge which was just 1 phase, and also what attracted to me to this company was lowest fees, and a real money account given with the broker eightcap.

I got the real account within few minutes of passing the challenge, I have made good profits and i requested withdrawal. It is now 10 days, and they have still not processed my withdrawal. during this period I am not allowed to have open positions, so cannot trade!

I have been with FTMO and MFF - both these companies have super customer support, but wanted to add a third company.
I am just sharing my experience of this company!
AVOID IT!

After complaint, the following is an email i received:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us!

We have looked into your case and we can see that your request is under review and is pending. Please, note that we currently have a huge influx of incoming withdrawal request due to successful traders.

We, of course, will not keep the money, and if everything is in order you will receive your funds asap.

Please, let us know if we can be of any further assistance to you.

I follow a few prop groups and have never heard about SuperFunded.

I guess that's always good - see how long it can be maintained for! It's been a rocky week.

The top 10 Leaderboard is good fun, but it also starts to play on your mind when you want to move up positions, dare I say forcing trades... So far still within the top 5, not bad!

In classic spectacular "jezzode" fashion I managed to drop back down to $50k, a matter of hours before the profit split day too!!

Can only laugh about it, back to the drawing board for now. At the very least the account is still alive to fight for another month come the re-set at $50k.

I was being hyper aggressive, totally got what was coming to me. Clearly I'm not a serious trader just yet

Very concerning news is floating around that FTMO will soon cease all operations in a handful of US states, citing 'business decision based on operational considerations'.

Many traders are concerned that this has something to do with regulation, and that other states may soon follow.

Can you please provide more information regarding this issue so that we, as traders, can make informed decisions and may be better-prepared, should operations cease in other areas? For example, can you disclose the reasoning for this decision as well as whether or not you foresee this occurring in other states or countries?

I know that they consider Delaware a tax haven of some sorts for a lot of people and that there is a lot of loopholes as far as claiming taxes as an LLC or an individual. A lot of rich people do that there I bet you this has something to do with that

-I suspect that if people are doing nefarious things, then regulatory groups (or the IRS) will likely target individual traders that reside inside of the U.S., first, in lieu of chasing after a foreign entity.

The only exception to this would be if the foreign entity has operations existing inside of US jurisdiction. There may be some treaties/agreements that allow for greater reach, but typically the time and cost-involvement may not be worth the pursuit, at least, initially.

We saw the same thing happen with Amazon; many foreign merchants were not collecting and remitting sales tax, which is a state tax, and were able to offer goods at lower prices, creating an unfair marketplace. The IRS decided to target US merchants because they were more easily accessible (and because Amazon is clever).

Anyway, if this does have something to do with taxes, then I will be a little surprised... but you could very well be right. Laws vary from state-to-state, even in terms of online gambling laws, so it could be many things. Even fraud claims, lawsuits, credit card charge-backs, new legislation etc. can all be considered. Hopefully, FTMO will be willing and able to provide something meaningful.
I've been using FTMO since June 2022, took 3 challenges to pass. I havent had any issues with keeping my account alive and profitable since. I used USDC / USDT payouts at the start and then had to open a USD account at a bank in my Country to recieve Swift wire transfers. So far no issues with FTMO and the profit splits. I plan to start a 200k account challenge this July.

Due to scheduled maintenance on Saturday, 20 May 2023, all platforms will be unavailable for trading from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Kindly be reminded that on top of this, cTrader also has different trading hours during the weekend. Therefore make sure to manage your trades accordingly.

The operativity on the symbol USDTRY, which was precautionarily set to Close Only due to the upcoming general elections in Turkey, has now been fully restored for all accounts stages.

Due to the Birthday of Buddha, HK50.cash will close early at 10:00 pm on Thursday, 25 May 2023, will be closed on Friday, 26 May 2023, and will reopen at 04:15 pm on Monday, 29 May 2023.

Hello Nsak3y, first of all, your concern is absolutely understandable. Considering the size of our company, our legal team conducts extensive analyses of different regions and countries, ensuring that we always stay 100% compliant and all the laws and regulations all over the world.
One of these analyses showed us that in a few certain US states, the local jurisdiction is generally not very positively disposed towards Forex, trading, etc. After several extensive discussions, we decided to precautionarily pull out of these states to avoid possible future inconveniences that could be very time-consuming to deal with. It was therefore 100% our own decision to put this precaution into effect.
As we don’t see any similar threats elsewhere, there’s no need to worry that other states would follow soon.

Hey everyone. Hopefully someone can help with this. I wanted to take an FTMO challenge and noticed that cTrader is available. MT4's spreads in FTMO are very good, but since I can't take a free trial on FTMO's cTrader I don't know if the spreads and costs are the same as MT4 (and this is important because it can directly impact my strategy).

Can anyone confirm if cTrader and MT4 have the same spreads and commissions or if they are different?
