-Is this a formally-recognized requirement? Should it be that all threads start with a long list of rules for members to read through, which can clutter the main message? And what about the main forum rules? Should these also be copy/pasted to the first post in order for them to be applicable? It does not seem practical.
This is how I am trading FTMO it's Pyramid grid strategy with Break Even at NY time Gold will move any of the direction can target 10% profit or 1% fixed drawdown in a day

100% its usually people who lack discipline or think its ok to hold a position in 20% dd and closing with 3% loss. Then they go online and say ftmo didnt respect the rues they are scamming. Its where the world is nowadays. Easier to play the victim and blame others then taking own accountability.

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend, today I'm here just to remind you about the planned changes for the following week:

A Daylight Saving Time change is on the way! On Sunday, 12 Mar 2023, the platform time on MT4/5 will shift from the current GMT+2 (CET+1) to GMT+3 (CET+2/CEST+1). However, it will not be until Sunday, 26 Mar 2023 that the 1-hour-ahead switch from the actual CET to CEST (Central European Summer Time) will become effective in Europe as well.
Kindly manage your trades according to the fact that your Max Daily Loss resets at midnight CE(S)T and that for two weeks the difference between the Client Area Time and the Platform Time will be 2 hours instead of the usual 1 hour. More information regarding the trading hours on the available instruments will be provided with the next updates.

They certainly deserve respect but there are lots of things they could do to shove off the bad competition and clearly stand apart. In particular they should endeavor to create an image of fairness and honesty above all.

The trend nowadays, with the so-called prop firms, is to blame and accuse the customers of attempting to dishonestly misuse and take advantage of the system (but only when they become consistently profitable with large sums). They invent the existence of organized gangs in selected countries which hedge trading positions within the members in order to guarantee success (I never understood how is this possible because the net sum tends to zero since profits and losses cancelling among the members). Then there is the different IPs narrative, people with different IPs in different countries are trading the same account. Assumes the existence of signals or account managers. People roaming, with dynamic IPs or that use VPN or VPS tend to see a finger pointed at them.

-I am not so sure that such inventions or fairy tales are really necessary. The reason that it may be possible for such groups to profit is because the net sum of profit vs. losses is not zero when you are getting 10X your investment to trade with, as well as a full refund following successful completion of the challenge phases. As such, you really only need one account to hit it big in order for your efforts to pay off.

But you do not need to be apart of some group in order to accomplish this. You can simply hedge accounts across multiple firms if you really wanted to. I certainly wouldn't advise it, though.

It seems that many so-called traders are just gambling and treating these firms like a lottery. And although this lottery happens to be a lot more expensive, it is refundable, qualifies as a tax write-off in most cases and offers much, much better odds than a traditional lottery.

Such activity is no good for the longevity of these firms, and is not something that we should be advocating.

It is always unfortunate when a few, bad apples ruin things for the majority. I would be very upset if my entire country was blacklisted all because a few of my countrymen decided to try to cheat or abuse the system in lieu of respecting the capital and the opportunity that was available to them. But it does not seem unreasonable for the firm to take such drastic measures if they were having to allocate excessive time and resources to the problem.

-Now, whether or not there is any truth to this statement is another matter, and is certainly something that we must keep an eye on.

There are a few bank holidays coming up for the UK. Do I need to close my position before these days for if I have a funded account?
Hello Vitek, it will not be possible for you to think about expanding the funds like 400 k or 500 k to start, the competition is offering up to $1 m, scaling takes a long time and only we can reach MTMO $400 k.

Last week I tried to trade at Asian session but sideways market condition is not good way to make money only martingale system works well in dead market but that must be risky to trade martingale so I am using Pyramid grid with Break Even protection also a recovery method intested that must customise based on our equity increase

Without recovering loss of equity we cannot secure account below 5% daily drawdown and overall 12% drawdown that allowed by prop firms we should always close number of profitable trades if initial deposit is down ifso atleast we can extend test to next month for free try same time if market have big price action Pyramid can make 10% profit within a day without going down to below 5% daily drawdown

So the trade must be at NY session, Initial deposit always protect, main target is maximum possible profit, all close under 3% DD this is the rules I learnt for prop firm trading

welcome to the new ForexFactory update, today a bit unusually on Tuesday as we just went through the Easter Holidays.
So happy Easter to all of you who celebrate it, let's begin by recapping all the changes that occurred during the short festive period.

On Thursday 6 April:
EU Indices (EU50.cash, FRA40.cash,GER40.cash, UK100.cash) closed early at 11:00 pm;
AUS200.cash closed early at 5:00 pm;
HK50.cash closed early at 10:00 pm.

On Friday 7 April (Good Friday) all instruments were closed except for Forex and Cryptocurrencies followed their normal trading hours, and the following instruments had trading hours modified as follows:
US Indices (US30.cash, US100.cash, US500.cash, US2000.cash) and JP225.cash closed early at 4:15 pm;
DX.f opened at 12:00 pm and closed early at 6:15 pm;
USTN10.f closed early at 6:15 pm;

On Monday 10 April (Easter Monday):
EU Indices (EU50.cash, FRA40.cash,GER40.cash, UK100.cash), HK50.cash were be closed all day;
EU Equities and ERBN.f were closed all day;
AUS200.cash reopened at 3:00 am;

On Tuesday 11 April:
GER40.cash, UK100.cash and AUS200.cash reopened at 3:15 am;
FRA40.cash reopened at 9:00 am;
EU50.cash and HK50.cash reopened at 4:15 am.
All times are expressed in the MetaTrader platform time (GMT+3 / CEST+1).

On Thursday, we added a new feature to the Account MetriX called the Consistency score. This indicator measures the trading consistency of each trader, with a higher value indicating a higher consistency of trades, which could help our traders to achieve better results, which should be the goal for anyone who wants to stay in the trading business for a longer period of time. Hello Ethanv49, sorry to hear that, however, we have not received any notable amount of complaints regarding platform freezing, but that does not mean the problem must have been necessary on your end. Please contact us at [email protected] and provide us with the logs from your platform (MT4 -> File -> Open Data Folder -> logs). Our team will investigate the root cause of those freezes.

Hi KarlKraus, I understand your suspicion, however, as I’ve mentioned before numerous times, we have never incentivized anyone into posting any fake reviews. As you said, such behavior would do more harm than good, not to mention that creating fake testimonials is completely immoral and can be perceived as false advertising, which is an unfair trade practice and ultimately a crime.

Hello Readme, please remember that although your trading strategy is completely up to you, trading must be legitimate and traders must not use practices that contradict the functioning of a real market and exploit practices that are intended to cause us any harm or misuse the Evaluation Process. We have never ceased cooperation with a trader unless there was a clear and indisputable breach of the T&Cs/FTMO Account agreement. In the case that the trader shows clear signs of a gambler-like approach (e.g. extreme volume, always trying to reach Profit Target with just one trade, etc.), we always issue a warning first.

Hello Akamrp, I know this response might be coming a little late, but Forex is normally open from Monday to Friday, so there’s no need to close your positions. However, the trading hours of other asset classes are changed, so either check the full description above or visit our Trading Updates page.

Hello Ak386, unfortunately, I can’t provide you with a direct “yes” or “no”. $400,000 is already available by combining two FTMO Challenges together, and as far as I know, increasing the maximum capital allocation is not in the pipeline.
