It was the bears that won this week but failed to close below 1.0712 support, the trend is bearish in a corrective manner but it may retrace up to 1.0830 (see chart) resistance for a bearish test or fail below 1.0700 to test the monthly S2 level (1.0660) or below 1.0636/1.0600.

End of month flows, interest rate hike expectations and debt ceiling negotiations will keep the volatility high with me expecting only 97 pips!

US Treasury Secretary Yellen: The US could default as early as June 5 without debt ceiling hike, previous date was June 1.

IMF sees the Fed funds rate at 5.25% to 5.5% until late 2024.

Also Eurozone Core CPI YoY Flash, US Initial Jobless Claims, US Nonfarm Payrolls & US Unemployment Rate are the most significant news releases on the economic calendar to watch.

1h we are still within the downward channel, bear is in control no doubt. For Monday 0740 will be resistance level while 0700 remain be the support.



daily wise I am interesting to see how this tl support may work. And we may bounce back to 1.1150 area from here. Note we are now under 100d sma which is a bearish signal. Daily close as a doji might be hinting a reversal (at least for a short term), correction is near and I am targeting where 20d sma is and 38.2 fibo level from this drop which is around 0850 area.

since morning I am trying to see usdx situation , now time to get into it ! bounce exaggerated and reached the tl last week , may retest but likely a correction towards 102.60 levels to try bounce towards 105. 80 , above extreme unrealistic but ok even possible towards 107.65 if more turmoils continues . so will look for for breakout down towards 102.60 ! take care
