Just like Dale has repeatedly mentioned. His method is not a holy grail but the probability is high enough to support an upward sloping equity curve. In my opinion Dales method is simple, he looks for an area where there would be a reaction of at least 10 pips. Some of those areas leads to reversals but he has mentioned that his psychology is not built to hold on for home runs. We are at liberty to twerk the method to suit our personalities but we must remember we wont most likely get the same win ratios.
If you are new just follow the owners manual and you will be fine.

"My trading levels are based mostly on Market profile, orderflow and price action" from post 1, no formula, no indicators, no templates. Everything else that has developed in the thread has come about because we are all trying to get a better feel for this style of trading, many people have posted attachments etc to try to emulate what Dale does on an MT4 type of platform, including myself.

Dale must have said 100 times he uses, MP, PA & OF to find levels, which he does from futures charts, He posts the levels he is interested in trading every day, with screen shots of the chart, and generally at the end of the month posts his results.... which are mighty impressive. I have kept a spreadsheet running for every level posted and can personally vouch for the accuracy of the levels.............. so honestly, I don't think Dale needs to do anything more than he is already doing.

Cheers Ziggy

I haven't picked up on any aussie news, but the way it's tanking suggests something more than a liquidity drive to me, falling against everything. Good luck if you take it on, certainly worth observing

A few Dax trades for me today, turned out nicely despite it being quadruple whitching day. Nothing on the FX charts tho. The big winddown starts next week, thin liquidity and short term volatility likely to take greater effect as the week moves on. Not yet sure when I'm calling a halt to trading, but when I do that'll be it until 2017. I'll be interested to hear what all you hardecore trading junkies are planning

I'm done for the week, have a great w/end folks and see you next week.

Cheers Ziggy

Trying to figure out how Dale looks at the futures market profile and incorporates that into the spot levels, im wondering why he posts the market profile for the actual spot forex pairs we're trading, not the futures contracts. Is there a way to overlay the market profile from the futures contracts onto the spot charts on tradingview? If so, could someone cast some light on how to go about doing that?

Do you want a fish or to learn how to fish?
I would like to learn how he fishes.
Do not want to be dependent.

Speaking of keeping levels for multiple days as long as theyre still fresh, that AUDUSD level @.7376 has the chance to be a monster runner if price returns early next week, now that price has broken through daily demand below. If that does happen, i'll probably leave a 3rd of my risk on for something around .7254 as a final target, see if price can test the daily demand level below the one it just broke.

sometimes its better to just watch and listen,,,
