Not long ago this thread (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=604389) had 200-300 visitors daily asking for secret and expecting thread starter to disclose his/her secret of success...same crowd is moving here unfortunately. There is no replacement for knowledge and hard work.

Ha Ha Ha!
Read any thread and you get a system or style of trading and you get on with it the best you can.

Then you a get a thread where the guy actually gives you the trades (which are highly successful) and yet you want to know what the system is?

Eat the pudding and forget the ingredients and how its made...just eat (collect) the pips for (nearly) free.

Is there another thread like this one on FF????

Dale, you just keep going.

If you want to learn what dale is doing then you need to understand price action. Couple that with the market profile and you will more or less be able to do what he is doing. Price action requires screen time, and imo cannot be taught. It's something that has to click and takes about 10,000 hours. ps to the people asking for rules on the 1st post - I challenge you to show me any thread of a strategy that is PROVEN TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITH EVIDENCE that clearly states 'the rules of engagement' on the first post. That's right you won't find any - there...

You haven't visited my threads.
Not only is the method explained in POST #1, the rules are on each chart.

This post is absolutely brilliant. It should be set as a disclaimer for everyone starting on these Forex forums.

"Animals that are fed lose…their ability to forage on their own. They often become overly aggressive and completely dependent on handouts. They start to look skinny and sickly and develop begging behaviors, which exacerbates the cycle further as visitors feel sorry for them…."

Traders that are fed (trades) never learn to trade on their own....
My preference is to learn how to trade not be handed trades.

{quote} Totally agree on this. Have you guys wondered what if dale is gone from this forum? It would be great if Dale wanted to teach us how to fish. Also, those of you who claimed to get similar levels with Dale, would appreciate if you can post here on how you got the levels.

A quote:

PRICE ACTION

Now, 2 patterns of market behavior happen on a regular basis:

1) the price breaks to new high's (or low's)
2) the price reverses from new high's (or low's)

They happen regardless of time frame .
They are phenomena that can be exploited without the fear if found out by others, that they might cease to exist. - H. Rearden

1) Price will either breakout of the high, low or both of the previous bar
2) Price will not breakout of the previous bar.

You cannot reduce it any further.
Anything else complicates the issue.

I use similar levels to trade to/from, some of them are the same as Dale's to the pip, he has some I don't have, I have some he doesn't have - it's all good, though. Here's my super secret recipe to find these levels: I use market profile, volume at price and PA, mixed with gut feel, experience and a seat of the pants interpretation of the most glaringly obvious fundamentals (because these are the only ones I understand).

If Dale has some of the second part in his own decision making, I wouldn't be too surprised.

If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you're doing.

― W. Edwards Deming (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/310261.W_Edwards_Deming)

I totally agree. For engineering, science, manufacturing, baking and a whole lot of other areas, this is something people should tattoo on their foreheads. But for arts, it is useless. For poker players, it's useless. For retail monkey traders, it's useless.

You can continue looking for a green = buy, red = sell 'trading system' here. There are a ton of threads that will provide you with a constant flood of the irrelevant rabble that someone in this thread already so aptly named 'trading system soup'. Or you can start to learn, get some practical experience, and take responsibility for your own actions and decisions, so you can stop hiding behind someone else's delusions.

Either way, it would be really nice if you could stop attacking the guy who posts the results of his own work, free for everyone to see and make a choice to use them or not. He doesn't owe you an explanation, even if he found the fucking magic formula to turn shit into gold down to 9 decimals.

{quote} Would not it benefit all if the methods, tools, "tricks", etc... were all in POST #1 or at least have links to the important posts in POST #1? Many thread starters on FF do that. Only asking Dale to post the how he does it so I and others can do it for ourselves. That is not being disrespectful, ziggy.

I think you have confused this “Interactive Trading” thread with a “Trading Systems” thread. If you look up the first post of any “Interactive Trading” thread very few state any rules regarding the said method that that trader is using. Trader-Dale is absolutely under no obligation to do what you have asked and edit his first post etc. and I think you are being quite disrespectful in your request for him to do this.

Trader-Dale has shown to be one of the very few very profitable traders on FF. Many traders push their methods and give the impression of how successful their particular method is by showing after the fact screen shots of successful trade after successful trade and conveniently omit any or many of the failed trades. (Sound familiar?). However it is incredibly rare to see this backed up with a myfxbook statement on a live account!

For consistency am I correct in assuming that you have been making similar requests to the other “Interactive trading” threads or you just decided to pick on this one. Ummm I wonder why?
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

Half the party speaking doesn't need to study, that much is obvious. There is a process which dale goes through, if people know about it, it won't change the outcome. When dale leaves you are all going to be eaten alive in the dangerous waters of forex.

There are some pretty good deals out there, however and if you keep trading Dale's levels as he produces them, then it won't be too long before you would be at a level where you could allocate a portion of your profits to that kind of feed.

Thanks for the information. I hace been looking thoroughly for such information and indicators but I didn't even find a good deals.

TOO SLOW , I spent hrs yest and last night reading your sites, I did not see 1 chart with a completed trade drawn on it , all I saw were a heap of numbers ,open, high, low etc , no table of wins/losses , at least TD puts some charts up with trades drawn in (or hyperthetical trades,as the case may or may not be) AND a monthly tabulation of win/losses .... learning from Dales charts one can expect to learn where to enter/exit etc.... if punters want to believe and maybe learn from TD's examples well and good , he at least is putting it out there BEFORE it happens ... cheers SP

{quote} I didn't come across free OF but there was some OF at futures.io. But still not completely free. You need to pay $100 for elite membership. This is the cheapest OF I came across. I didn't try it though so I can't say anything about the quality. But more importantly - IT IS NOT A HOLY GRAIL! I suggest getting as much info and practice with price action+market profile. Orderflow will probably be more a distraction than usefull tool.

Sorry for replying so late. Sometimes family and home tasks can be more stressing than the market. Thanks again for the information. Well, good news is I am not that bad as a searcher. Now I understand I won't find it anywhere for free. I will hold to your suggestion and I will put Order Flow aside for the time being.

In any case, Dale, could you recommend us a platform and some indicators for Market Profile please?

{quote} Hi Jexpol, we all need a helping hand at times I take no credit on this thread, it is totally down to Dale for which I'm very grateful. I have seen potentially good threads in the past come to a grinding halt because the originator gets bombarded with questions and sometimes worse so I have involved myself where I feel I can to large extent to try to share the load. It also nice to be able to help others who are at the early stages of trading, it can be a lonely game at times and a few friends are always nice to have. As others...

Overwhelmed and grateful. Both of Dale and you were again sensible and helpful. Again for replying so late when weekend arrives I sometimes disconnect for a few hours.

For now on I will try to learn whatever I can from PA and MP and practice with that. It is said you need 10,000 hours to master any discipline. That makes a great deal of time but I find it very interesting (at least while I use demo mode... ). I hope I can contribute in the near future with more than just questions and give back to you and other traders part of what I got.

I wish in the end you can enjoy a happy retirement and funny trading times. That is the least we should expect.
